brandonbee48
Overall a bit better racing than predicted. If only we had the atmosphere of last Tuesday's Zielona Gora/Gorzow epic.
manchesterpaul
Overall a bit better racing than predicted. If only we had the atmosphere of last Tuesday's Zielona Gora/Gorzow epic. Polish racing on a Tuesday! and Epic too, ouch i missed that, plus we had no Swedish racing this week. Not been around at all this last week or so been a little busy to put it mildly. Obviously the racing, and we can use the word racing, has been better than expected. Like many i was fearing the worst. We do need it to not only continue but get better as the night proceeds though. Heat 13 looks a potential solid race. Hee Hee Nicki going off on one and not excusing his French. He had a point though.
brandonbee48
What an enigma is Chris Harris. From one ride to the next, you never know.
manchesterpaul
Whether it's during a round of heats in a meeting or a meeting overall, whenever Greg Hancock suffers a dip his rivals never seem to take advantage. This round of heats Hancock comes last but Nicki Pedersen and Holder only get third places. Even Jason Crump gets beat by Lindback just now. Often when Hancock doesn't make the final his close rivals also don't claw back any great amount such as winning the meeting. JT
What an enigma is Chris Harris. From one ride to the next, you never know. His form always picks up in Croatia and Italy, two tracks he clearly excels on when others cock things up. Shame he's so crap during the rest of the season though. JT. manchesterpaul
I wonder if there is something in the Swedish air?, should Greg be tested for Pine? He certainly seems to have rejuvenated his longevity by living there. Not only did i not see his title triumph coming, i never thought he'd stay right up there at the top. Very commendable performances still. Ouch Chris Harris confirming speedway bikes combination of rocket and beast. Don't know why commentary team hopeful on the countback Lindback AND Holder already two wins compared to Harris' one. So a third for them is good. Crump lurking right behind with a race to come too. Lol UPDATE commentators just got up to speed. Edited August 11, 2012 by manchesterpaul
brandonbee48
The "enigma" is a lucky, lucky boy. Thank goodness that all came out without injury.
manchesterpaul
Someone tell Sky HARRIS IS ALREADY OUT. My spreadsheet (lol) says Holder third = more wins than Harris. Crump third = Crump unlike Harris no non-finishes. By the way i do realise the commentary team don't use a spreadsheet. So i'm not knocking Sam's. What would your spreadsheet say if Crump and Holder would have also had non-finishes in Heat 20?
manchesterpaul
I wouldn't like to try betting on the heats like some do. Costly for Crump and Pedersen there, will Greg take full advantage? Update costly for the third rider behind Greg as Holder exits too. Tsunami
What crap meeting on a crap track. It's like this every year so why do we go back to it. Marketa was warned and had to improve the track but this sanddune is the same every year. Worst GP of every year.

OMG! lol. Obviously i was speaking outside of freak results. Geez! a very pedantic offering by yourself. If Sam is a friend of yours i did point out i wasn't knocking other spreadsheets. manchesterpaul
even the dancing horses at the olympics were more entertaining than any part of that meeting There has certainly been far more 'racing' than i expected in advance of the meeting. What a shame for Vaculik and the meeting a nasty fall.
