Stoke Make 2 Changes

Vog, dont know if you have the ear of the management at Stoke, Jake Anderson back over here riding, he is a good Team man to have around, a good gater, and scores very well away from Monmore Wood, Malcolm could do a lot worse than sign him, i think his average is middle 7,s but 2 years ago the NL was stronger than now, so i believe he could up this average, and with you having important meetings coming up he could do a very good job for you, always a good rider to have in Heats 13 & 15, earned us some vital away wins, has an away average higher than his home average, could never fathom out Monmore 100%.

Alas, I don't have anyone's ear, and it's much easier this way ;)

As it is, we wouldn't be able to bring him in now I don't think. We declared James on his 5.xx average (Can't remember the exact figure) but we are still above the limit, so it would be like for like only.

For the record, Jake's last average was 7.02 (And I am pretty sure he is riding for Plymouth now? Or at least he has appeared in the last couple of meetings for them!)

You have our ear Vog (although we don't get much choice sometimes)

Who else knows the rules, knows the averages, knows the statistics and corrects our programmes if not you mate?

But by using possessive, objective and subjective personal pronouns (us, we, our etc.) you do let folk think you might be connected to the management at Stoke.

This could get you into serious trouble when assembled hordes of vindictive Heathens are next baking to death for two hours at Loomer (for whatever hold up it is) on a sunny afternoon, or blundering into hard objects in the dark after the genny has gone to lunch yet again!

Honour does not play a part in this sport as i was told when the new averages come in i would be back down at reserve for stoke but i never saw that.

I agree honour should play apart though!

I have been on holiday for a few weeks so had not seen your reply. That's a poor show by Stoke if they had said that a place was yours when the averages come in and that will now not be the case. We all have an opinion on who should be in or out of any side but the management of teams have (in my eyes anyway) an obligation to treat riders in the correct way. I have to say that although I have enjoyed parts of the season, I have fell out of love a bit with speedway with the way it operates and will not attend again this year...may be give a miss altogether next year. Keep you chin up Ross and take rides wherever you can to get to keep yourself in peoples minds for a possible spot in their team.

Little cruel, but watching him at Rye House on Saturday I'd say he made a major mistake switching from Stoke.

Cruel perhaps, but it can't be doing his confidence any good the way he's going.
