Rye House V Workington 13/8/12

Recommended Posts

I wasnt taking the mick i'm very sad that Kenny is hurt, I wanted Auty to guest and get a max so he could stick his middle finger *not literally* at all them Workington Morons who think he went out to Kill Ingalls last night. Incidents like this happen in Speedway. Riders like Josh are a breath of fresh air to British Speedway. We should be backing him not whinging at him accusing him of purposly going out to injure someone is just Idiotic.

Your one Prat, what has last nights meeting got to do with the Rye v Worky thread, get over it, a rider is now in hospital and will miss the remainder of the season at best (not blaming anyone that's one of the downsides of the sport we all love) just fed up of reading all this drival about who is to blame when a young lad lays in hospital many hundreds of miles away from his family. Call the Worky fans all you like but Kenny was the innocent victim in all of this.

in all the posts i have read on this i dont think anyone has accused auty of purposely going out to hurt anyone just his manner on a bike which i have to agree leaves a lot to be desired at times.

Ahhh right... They must be having some bad luck then, comet49 said so

Er no, not cos I said so. Didn't they finish last weeks meeting with 4 riders and still won. Last night Ricky got injured without scoring or maybe I've been dreaming about Berwick. All this tiit for tat is crazy, replace taking the mick with bad taste if you want Edited by comet49

I've already told you I don't follow Scottish football, but I'll promise to Google it in the morning

Weather forecast looking better today, just a chance of showers at about 5.00pm other than that dry and cloudy. Maybe we will still get a meeting tonight ))

That's changed from this morning, so I'd expect Len to give it every chance. Although both sides are weakened we really need to get these meetings run with more rain forecast ahead.

Looking forward to seeing how Kasper copes with the Rye House track after a promising debut at Leicester on Saturday

Met Office says, dry until 19:00, then sun and a 60% chance of a hail shower

So difficult for promoters to make a call What do you do, run the meeting and risk it being rained off, or call the meeting off early and risk the wrath of the supporters when the promised rain fails to materialise?

He has to run at all cost where possible with Workington being a saturday night track. With so many meeting left to run before the extended cut off. Shame as with a depleted side and dodgy weather seems like another poor crowd may be on the cards. Feel sorry for the Promotion with the rain offs and injuries it seems like its been a pretty costly season that has had no continuity. Fingers crossed for the weather and it will be nice to see Adam Roynon again

it's the worse case scenario for uncle len this evening shads. a weakened rockets side going up against a decent looking sky tv match and a dodgy forecast. weather permitting i will be one of the die hards there tonight.

Not finished work until half six, quick wash and brush up and a dash up the A10. Hope it's worth it.

Agree with you that it'll be a poor crowd to tonight. Great shame because it should be an entertaining match up, even with weakened sides.

The BBC updated at 4pm has hail shower at 6pm followed by heavy rain from 7-10pm?

Not sure what to do as it's a 1.5hr journey for me?
