Super Blue
Jesus christ, dont you want young Brits like Lweis to progress, Lewis has quite rightly stepped up to the Pl and there where he should be riding at this stage, good luck to him,Mildenhall need to get used to it,it what we need to happen more often in the NL-----Riders improving and stepping up What utter crap!! You are entitled to your opinion and I am to mine , don't dismiss mine without backing it up !!! I've previously stated that I want him to progress at the right time in other posts but it's sad to say loyalty is missing in this case and life in general these days !! Having looked at some other posts of yours do I comment that your opinion is utter crap ? No I don't , even when it bulls**t !!! This forum is about debate not abuse so I will leave it there ! Looks like this could be off anyway , track inspection later .

Tigertas
Weather looking better than it did an hour ago. meeting to start at 4pm due to the heavy downpour we had. sun out now looking for a good safe meeting. come in tigers
Bagpuss
I have to agree with montie, unfortunately the NL is a stepping stone for young lads who are good enough to progress to the PL and as such the higher level should take priority when there are fixture clashes. Of course it hinders Mildy in this case but they should get satisfaction from the role they have played in developing Blackbird to his current level.
fentigers79
I don't think anyone would hold back any rider the progresses but my complaint in particular is the fact we were told out meeting would be early and leicester would be late to accommodate Lewis riding in both meetings, seems like a cock up by someone ! So hes a talented lad, riding well,in good form, when is the right time to step up?????, He has done 100% the correct thing by doing PL,its called ambition, you should be gratefull that he rides when ever he can for the tigers and wish him well in the next stage of his career, its exactly what the NL is for,not sit there moaning that he is missing your fixtures and he is captain, you never know he may captain the Leicester team in a couple of years,i hope he does Quit the maoning and be proud that your team has hopefully sent another young Brit on to bigger and better things,Stefan Nilsen should be next i hope,he deserves it

Super Blue
Yup , well done to Stoke . I'm sure Lewis would have scored more than the 5 accrued by RR in his absence . Better not make any comments on this as I may upset people ! Probably cost Mildenhall the win though .
Damon
It didnt cost Mildenhall the win, Blackbird would have struggled with the track the same. Well done to Stoke, but to be honest with the play off system it doesn't really matter, we will all have to race each other in the play offs anyway. Whether we won today or not, I think we would have to beat Stoke or Dudley over two legs to win the league anyway.
fentigers79
If we are to lose Lewis to leicester as a regular thing the promotion need to sort riding order as heat 13 is very difficult to have r/r
Heathen1984
Course it matters to win the league, ok doesnt win u the league but always good in any sport to finish at the top. And good to finish top, choice who to ride against then. Well done potters, didnt ex Didnt expect that result
vog
Well that was unexpected! But that's how our team is built. Our top 4 score the big points, and we hope the other three chip in with a couple. Worked well! You always figure that going into heats 13 onwards we are strong! greyhoundp
Put my ten penneth worth in for what its worth, Ashley, and Lewis have been predominantly NL this year, and didnt have a PL team at seasons start, so therefore NL should have priority, Tom Perry, Cam Heeps were named in a PL Team at seasons start, so PL Team should have priority, this does not penalise the NL Team, or the other option is to allow a Guest in this situation. Well done to The Potters, unexpected win for you, tough on The Tigers, lets just hope you dont do the same at our place on Tuesday , if the weather permits of course, whatever it will be a tight meeting, as Ashley, Simon, Ben all go well at our place, and Tony has plenty of experience around Monmore. You are right we are weakened without Heeps and Blackbird, we dont often beat teams when we are put in that position?

Problem is if this was the case, with quite a few fixture clashes PL promotions would be warryof signing the like of Ash Morris and Lewis Blackbird.which would be a real shame

Congrats to Stoke on their well deserved win. Track conditions seemed to either suit them, or not phase them out as much as it did for some of the home team. Lambert, Birks, Reade all did what was expected. It was Tony Atkin who surprised me the most though, and put in a match winning performance. Not fast, not pretty, but man, he could gate! All of that experience is invaluable when track conditions are from ideal. Damon hit the nail on the head. With the Playoffs, you just need to make sure you're in the top 4. 3 out of the top 4 are obvious, already. From then on, you all start equal, and need to be able to beat anyone over 2 legs if you want to be champions. Whether you finish 20 points in the lead, or sneak into 4th place, there's no real difference. Still a disappointing meeting from the Mildenhall perspective, and I guess a lot will have been learnt from yesterday's meeting. Ie, how not to p*ss off Michael Lee, amongst other things!
TMW
. Still a disappointing meeting from the Mildenhall perspective, and I guess a lot will have been learnt from yesterday's meeting. Ie, how not to p*ss off Michael Lee, amongst other things! That did make me chuckle and there isn't much of that around at the moment. I hope Mildenhall aren't too down on themselves they have had an amazing run and JJ just obviously was caught on the backfoot but the lad has been doing well I hope this doesn't knock him but to be fair when Micheal Lee rants he gets results......... still a very good team!!!!!!! It's just unfortunate that there are so many fixture clashes and Lewis deseves his place in the PL but at the mo NL is his bread and butter he has worked hard it's a shame that PL teams couldn't get all revolutionary in their thinking and swap reserves for instance!!!!!. Somerset and Leicester swap Perry for Blackbird and then Lewis wouldn't have the fixture clashes but is that too dafter idea am I way off ????
