Main Man
Beaumont Park, Leicester MDL Saturday 28th July 2012 Defending champions Long Eaton moved level on points with Belle Vue at the top of the MDL by beating the Colts 20-16 at Beaumont Park on Saturday evening. Led by Oliver Greenwood's 9-point maximum, the Invaders might've won by a greater margin if Connor Coles hadn't been unlucky enough to fall in two of his three rides, but still had to overcome stiff resistance from the visitors, especially their No.1, 15-year-old Max Clegg, who is surely the most promising young rider in the UK at the present time.
