PL Pairs, Somerset 24/8

Recommended Posts

Morning Folks, hows the weather down south, looking to leave cumbria 9.30am, staying in Weston Supermare so a night on the Pier could be the option if the Pairs gets rained off ;) . Looking like rain most of the day to clear around 7pm , do they have track covers for this as someone had mentioned ? They did at Berwick for one of the GP meetings but think this was a one off certainly saved the meeting from being cancelled .

Come on the Mighty Comets

Not sure if Phillipsr has picked up my messages, so just in case, is there anyone going to the meeting who would be able to text?

Thanks

Sue

Edit - All sorted now. Thanks

Apart from Doyle and Wright I haven't got a clue who is riding, eligible teams changing and riders injured and being replaced.

In The Star Joe Screen is reviewing The Pairs and said "I think if Doyle and Masters were paired for Someset then the rest of us would be scrapping for second." So come on Wrighty prove him wrong. It's 4-50 pm and chucking it down 15 miles from track, however Highbridge often misses the worst of the weather and the track can take plenty of rain.

Just found an update on BSPA web site for riders taking part. My forecast is Leicester, Somerset and Glasgow the top three.

I gather that Richard Lawson fell last night and got injured or are Workington playing it tactical so that the man of the moment Adam Roynon can ride?

t makes for a better meeting when the best riders are there unless of course you,d prefer it if we got a NL rider in to make it easier for the rebels
