The Heathens V Scunthorpe

Recommended Posts

Went along last night, not the most exciting meeting i have ever seen, but wanted to see scunny,s new crop of youngsters, Tommy Fenwick nice to see he was not overawed by riding in front of a big crowd, like what i saw, little bit wild, but liked what i saw, lost some points due to Ef,s. Max Clegg, much more steadier than Tommy, scored in all of his races, and one for the future. Olly Greenwood, he improved as the meeting went on, the 3rd time i have seen him this season, not so impressive as previously, but he has had a long lay off, and another for the future.I was a little bit dissapointed with Steve Worall expected more from him to be honest. I can see the potential in this squad, and this season is a learning curve for most of them, I see them and i see Ashley Birks and Richie Worall of 2 seasons ago.

As i said earlier, not a great meeting, but Scunthorpe have the right Training method and i applaud them for it, I wish more Teams were able to follow this blueprint, The Heathens are not able to do this, but i wish they had entered a team in the MDL, no reason why they couldnt have done.

Bit boring as a meeting. Feel heathens riders threw away bout 8 points due to falling off in few races but cant complain with 25 point win.

But disappointed with worrall but looked like the only rider who looked capable of winning a race. Still feel greenwood, clegg, fenwick and phillips av bright futures ahead, tricky track to get too grips with last night. Still learning aint they!
