Arson fire
Can't blame bomber for being pissed off, had it been a non sky meeting he would have got a few mins to sort his bike out after Eddie ran into him.
BritPete
Well done to Scottie, the best rider on show tonight. I did not recognise him as the rider that was at Swindon last season though. Harris, as usual, blamed his equipment, and Tai acted like a brat. .
spencebel
I would feel the same. Tai was leading when Kennett came off, he could have got off the track, it gets stopped , its then rerun and he finishes 3rd, and as for the trophy .!!! I gave better when i did a rider of the night at BV in the 70s...... Next yr Tai..
DougieD
Its seems its okay for the Danes/Swedes/Poles etc to say something because "they don't really understand" ..... makes me sick .... always somebody ready to have a pop at a Brit but they crawl back under there stone when its an outsider :-(
LagutaRacingFan
Personally think mature riders like Joe Screen and David Howe deserve wild cards instead of Tai Woffinden. When riders go into the GP's, They represent TeamGB and Woffinden would not represent us well but Screen and Howe would as they are sportsmen but more importantly they hold superior morals. Harris, as usual, blamed his equipment, and Tai acted like a brat. . Agree about tai, understand tai being disappointed but he was a little disrespectful with it. As for Harris I actually agree with what he said, think sky dictated the timing so they were off air for 10.30. Should have had more time. As for Scott, the best rider on the night and beat what was put in front of him which again really only got tougher in the final. A big difference between the top 4 and the rest. stevebrum
Congratulations to `4 points at cardiff a good night` Scottie. Probably the best rider on the night won. Woffy was unlucky when leading the 1st running but thats the breaks - and didnt look that quick all night. Wishes go to Danny and Robert as they were both nasty accidents - i cannot believe they both re-appeared in their next heats. Kennett certainly looking quicker (insert your own joke if needed). A long night but a good amount of good heats to make it wortwhile. Monmore certainly a bit slicker than is usual and hasnt been at its best the past couple of weeks. But we can at least still show what a good race track can offer.

mdmc82
Very proud of all our coventry riders tonight. Thats the kennett we know, when on form he is brilliant. Felt for harris as he didnt have time to sort his bike after it got knocked in the final. Excellent night for nicholls though and glad to see him do well. Tai had some good races but shame he spoilt it for himself with his behaviour.
Chris Brown
It's up to the others to knock him down. Unfortunately they're always falling short. The was some hope for the future on show though. Fingers crossed these guys get some more backing. You are so right in hoping they get some backing but the reality is that they won't. The sponsorship and the money will go to Danes, Swedes, Poles etc etc etc who will be over here tiding in 2 leagues and gaining masses of experience and money from doing it While British Speedway supports its riders in this way. OK its one example of a rider who will not be World Champion, but Kyle Hughes as a National League rider who started the season in the Premier League has been told he can only ride in the NL and cannot take guest bookings in the Premier League. Can anyone explain why the clowns who run the sport would come up with a rule like that while loads of young and old foreigners are riding in both the PL and EL Its time these clowns were held to account for the state of the talent in British Speedway. Great achievement by Scott Nicholls to win 7 titles but it really shows the lack of talent coming through when riders who in fairness were probably at a higher weld level than Scott maybe won it once or twice. As much as I dislike his commentary Tatum was at a different level in world speedway to Scott and her only won it twice and it was always held on his home track. Thats shows the quality that was around at that time. The future looks pretty grim really because you just know that those riders with what looks like a good future will be given no help and suport by British Speedway and will be left behind by overseas riders Very sad IMO
Bagpuss
Stonker - Craig Cook, the type of rider my club should be looking at for 2013 Stinker - Josh Auty, rode like a headcase tonight Thought Harris was gracious at the end, can understand his frustration at the quick re-run as you could clearly see his dirt deflector shear off. Not a bad thing to see two gutted riders on the podium, shows they give a toss. Among Chris Brown's moaning and groaning he makes a good point about the monkeys running the sport....the British Final field gets weaker each year and I can't see that changing any time soon. Wolves not at its best as a racetrack tonight, as others have said perhaps its time for the event to go to another circuit. With all the PL riders taking part nowadays perhaps a PL track would be a good choice; Sheffield, Scunny or Somerset please.

Phlipphlopp
But we can at least still show what a good race track can offer. And it wasnt tonight . About time they moved it to a real racetrack . Monmore is like a better (sometimes) version of Lakeside , Belle Vue and Arlington , so nothing to write home about Edited July 30, 2012 by phlipphlop

A fair few people have been critical of Holder for his tantrum in the SWC, and rightly so, and again here, what Woffinden did was pretty pathetic, regardless of him being British.
Cj69
Just spoke to Lawson, He forgot his best bike. British Final obv doesnt rank highly if he can 'forget' his bike for one of the biggest meetings he will take place in this year. Reeks professionalism How about got set up wrong a bit more believable.
