Fourentee
Woffy has ridden at Cardiff once when he was a Grand Prix series regular. For the record, he also had one ride last year as meeting reserve, finishing behind Holder but ahead of Crump and Holta.
stratton
Age is irrelevant in a way, Tai has crammed a lot in in a short amount of time,as JTW pointed out there is a lot of negativity with our British lads. Also do are lads get as much help(financially)and encouragement as say Denmark ie) the likes of Jensen? I dont think so.Tai has done it the hard way Conference then the PL ,not had everything on a plate and hard work and talent has got him to where he is today.I Think when he gets in the series he is good enough to stay in it he is that talented I wasn't always sure of that but his experience of his stint before in the series will hold him in good stead.Good luck to all the riders, I will be hoping Steady can get his gating shoes on as he has been riding well and Roynon and Auty put on a show.

Snyper1010
Can I just remind those that are drooling over Tai, that he is indeed younger than Craig Cook but has actually had many more years on a speedway bike. Cook is very new to speedway after making the switch from motoX. If you compare Cookie on the few years he has been riding speedway and judge where he is now compared to other riders id say he is way ahead of most. Id also say he is in with a good chance of a final place tonight.
screm
Put Woffinden,Nicholls and Harris into a reace, draw lots for the 4th rider, have one race and its job done.We wont then have to go through the charade of the qualifiers.

Why race, just hand it to the rider who draws gate 1. They could do it online.

Glad that he is sticking at Speedway and hope he takes the next step and move up the EL otherwise he will start stagnating very quickly. He has shown that he can hold his own already in the EL. Definetly one of the brighter hopes for the home nation. Just hope his desire to move his career on matches his natural talent. That said Tai is the pick of all the `young` riders on show tonight. manchesterpaul
How's the weather down there in Wolverhampton? Getting a third day of torrential rain spells here in Manchester (such a rare thing). If it's clear let us know as a couple of friends will hesitate to travel if they think it's the same weather for the meeting.

I did know that but would hardly say one ride as track reserve counted as an appearance at Cardiff. Comparing Woffinden to Cook is stupid IMO. Yes Cook is doing a decent job this season, but Woffinden was absolutely tearing the Premier League apart when he was 18, and averaging 7+ in the Elite League likes SCB says. And also, age is important because if you are younger then you have longer to develop and gain experience.

Coventry_Bee
Its Tai`s to lose really with home track advantage. Just think back to last years final though and it means alot to Harris and Scott to be British Champion so expect hard racing and Scott is quick round Wolverhampton and won't be scared to give anybody a good shunt out of the way just ask Bomber. Tai does deserve a chance at Cardiff as Scott has struggled when he has been the wild card.

That shows that he is something a bit special, whereas at 25 Cook is still nowhere near that. Just face it,people may not like him but Woffinden is a great talent, and is in a different league to any other young rider, with only Nicholls and Harris anywhere near him. Cook will never reach the standards Woffinden is at now in his career. Got nothing against him but he is nothing special at all.
Sir Jasper
With almost half the line up being coventry riders or assets think it would be nice to be at coventry one year. They always use british riders To be fair Coventry have held more than their fair share of British Finals. If you recall a few years ago we held the ELRC, despite havign 3 riders in the final it was a bit of a disaster financially for the club so I presume they did not offer to stage the meeting for fear of losing more cash. As for the meeting, Woffy is just getting over a shoulder injury, as is Nicholls, Harris is struggling for consistency relating to his bikes and Kennett is just struggling full stop.... Final of Woffy Harris and Nicholls plus 1 for me.
At the tapes
I think personally its Nicholls to lose tonight. Really does ride Monmore well and with Harris stuggling for consistency & Woffy in pain he should be favourite. Think Roynon may spring a suprise & Cook to be there or there abouts. Like i said Cookie wasnt even racing speedway at 18 so your point is invalid. Does that mean that Tai is better than what Sam Ermolenko was as he was also a late comer to the sport in terms of his age, but he went on to be World Champion. Tai WAS full of potential but has long since lost that and seems to be slotting into a level at which he will stay. Claiming Woffinden to be in a different league from any other young rider shows your blinkered views on the matter.
