Wackie
Seems to be lots of discussion about the wrongs & rights about last nights SWC final, but no thread dedicated to congratulating the Danish team! So, Congratulations Team Denmark! A brilliant display from a team encapsulating youth and experience. No last places throughout the final, young guns doing GP stars up like kippers and tactics which showed the joker rule up for being the idiotic idea it is! Thoroughly deserve world cup champions. Great to see too that there is a new guard emerging. For a while it lookedl like the future years in the GP's would turn into the Holder/Ward show, but...... the danes are coming!!!

Wendy
Are you guys for real? They cheated. Bare faced and then laughed about. Where's the great team spirit in that? Buster had a rant a couple of weeks ago about "Cheats don't prosper" but now everyone wants to congratulate cheats? Denmark were the best team on show, were going to win anyway and yet they felt the need to cheat. So why congratulate them? Snyper1010
Wendy get a grip of yourself. The Danes hadnt used a single Joker or substitute in the whole World Cup competition, so why should they risk losing to a flawed and embarrassing doublr point rule in the closing stages. They didnt cheat they simply stopped Australia using a joker for a heat. Dont forget Watt also slowed in his heat to stop himself from passing the Dane, does that mean the Aussies cheated too? Get rid of daft double point rules and there will be no need to try and counter it. EDIT Congrats Denmark and thanks for the 8/1 World Cup win payout i got from your success. Plenty of discussion going on on the SWC Final thread about the wrongs & rights of the joker. This thread is for congratulating Denmark on a string of fine performances which saw them deservedly life the Ove Funding trophy saturday night. Viva the red & white revolution! I've not read the other thread - just saw this one and assumed it was a wind up, especially given your signature. So, erm, congratulations, Denmark on, erm, pinching Matt Ford's rule book and cheating yourselves to a victory when doing it honestly would still have made you top scorers. On the other hand, Craig Ackroyd again showed he lacks the cojones to referee a big meeting - he should have disqualified Denmark for cheating. Cos. guys, that is what they did. WHY they felt the need, is anyone's guess, when they were clearly the best team on the night.

A ORLOV
Who is Ove Funding? Thats the name of the pension fund that the accountants set up for the great rider Ove Fundin. As for Denmark winning the World Cup congratulations to them. They included very good young riders who showed what they could do and NP showed up the stupidity of the rules. The joker should either be got rid of or only allowed when 8 or 10 behind. There should be a reserve, or two, who can only take a limited number of rides, Edited July 16, 2012 by A ORLOV
