stevebrum
England could spring a suprise IF they ride with passion for #RICO. However like most have said, the Danes have to be massive favourites but cant see Poland lieing down and not being happy with 2nd and a non spot in the final. I expect Poland, Denmark, GB, Czech in order of finishing.
full-throttle
my money is on TeamGB. as the saying goes 'easy come easy go' Regardless of tonights result Australia will be on the top of the podium Saturday
LagutaRacingFan
my money is on TeamGB. as the saying goes 'easy come easy go' Regardless of tonights result Australia will be on the top of the podium Saturday If Ward isn't fit then they won't be and even if he rides then he won't be nowhere near fully fit, Batchelor and Watt are out of there depth and Denmark will end up winning the whole tournament. BritPete
This has all the makings of a great meeting. Four teams, but only one going through! Should be cracker. The first two meetings have been close, and I can see no reason why this will be any different. Poland will be desperate to win after their failure on home shale, and I expect a neck and neck contest between them and Denmark. Gollob, and MJJ both go well at this track, add Nicki to the mix, and there should never be a dull moment. I just hope that team GB can be snapping at their heels. DougieD
I see the Danes have hit the "panic" button and brought in Nicki "The Beast" Pedersen. Nevermind we will just have to do it the hard way I guess ;-) Come on ENGLAND!

brandonbee48
Hi from the USA. Nice interview between Scott and Chris Louis a few minutes ago with the sun shining- good news number 1. " C'mon England, GB, UK " Alan.
Ghostwalker
The place looks empty Swedes should have been seeded to this not the final the poor/unreliable weather the past weeks have probably scared away some.
manchesterpaul
The place looks empty Swedes should have been seeded to this not the final Was thinking the same and hoping the background shots were very pre-meeting. Sky just said repeatedly it's a big crowd for a race off!!! Right now it doesn't seem anywhere near as big as the weekly Swedish League matches we see on Premier Sports. Let's hope that everywhere apart from behind the shoulders of the presenters the stands are packed out. Agree would have been good if Sweden had been seeded to this except they likely might not have qualified for the final making it look even worse for the sport if that had a low attendance? It's not just speedway these days that can suffer from the absence of a host nation participating. The last few years have seen many of football's continental championship finals matches being playing in front of extremely sparse crowds. Ghostwalker
Some facts about the track. Track: G&B Arena (Målilla Motorstadion) Track length: 305m Track record: Old silencer: 55,9 s set by Hans Andersen (Dackarna) 2006-08-01 & Nicki Pedersen (Lejonen) 2008-07-22 New silencer: 55,1sek Andreas Jonsson - Dackarna - 2011-08-23 Edited July 12, 2012 by Ghostwalker
manchesterpaul
Does Gollob ever get up after a fall or is every race always stopped when he goes down?
Ghostwalker
Gollob seems to have been inspired by Harris. Correct decision by ref. on the latest overlook of the track it looked like a pretty good sized crowd. manchesterpaul
By the way just to clarify...that kiss blown by the start girl was aimed at me lol Nicholls has to get at least second here for us to think we got a chance. Saddest camera shot so far the empty picnic tables what a waste! With the Heat 4 line-up it will be a bad omen if Chris Harris doesn't win it. Very quiet on here is everyone deflated already? Maybe Chris Harris and Nicki Pedersen will give us something animated to talk about. Unless Nicki streaks off into the distance? manchesterpaul
On the realistic presumption that GB would not be battling for the win i was going to say before the meeting that hopefully we'll have a good close race between Denmark and Poland. Looking like a runaway win for Denmark so far no matter what the joker brings for us now. Edited July 12, 2012 by manchesterpaul

manchesterpaul
Tatum says we are right back in it! Well if we can play a joker against a pointless Danish rider in every race maybe. A little bit pesky the fact that every other Danish rider have won their races TWICE. Get real Tatum. Daniel Smith
Well done Woofy. Need to see some racing, been nothing apart from falls offs. Dire so far
salty
Denmark win 6 races out of 8, we win 1 and yet we're only 2 points behind. Don't know if its fair but the joker certainly keeps things close.
