All in all quite an enjoyable meeting. Bring on Saturday.

I'm not knocking Adam but the last thing he needs is being chucked into the SWC. He needs a full season of racing before he can think about stuff like that.

Well done to the Danes. Unfortunately i can't join you for the final as my son is swimming in his summer championships. ( double points if he is behind at the end of the first lap  ). Should be a cracker of a meeting and i'll read your comments after its all over. Join you for Polski Sunday.

Regards. Alan.

Some pride for GB, but we just cant race when it gets slick.

Surely its time to let Nicholls go, he continues to fail on the big stage.

I believe we should have put someone like Auty in. I would have let Richie Worral have a go if he was fit.

Lets face it, he wouldnt have scored much less than Nicholls.

King we should perservere with but its time to push kids like Worral, auty who are in form and riding quick in the UK and form the team around Tai and Bomber who always give 110% for their country.

and there lies the problem. They look alright in a woeful Elite League but would struggle in the second tier in Poland and Sweden. Auty and Worrall would have been half a lap behind at least tonight.

Danes were pretty damn good. If they get Leon going then they will have a great chance on Saturday.

Poland gave them a scare.

Woffy was good and Chris OK but we were a disappointment bordering on poor with Scott and Danny.

We achieved our limit but would have been nice to see us do better :(

What a hell of a final we have for Saturday.

I will be supporting the Russians who I think have an outside chance as clear outsiders with three very strong sides with little to choose from them.

My heart says Russia as I love watching them but my head says Denmark if they sort out their 4th slot.

Good meeting. Enjoyed it but could not match up to the qualifiers as they were sublime entertainment.

Barker, Auty, Worrall(ok he's injured) Roynon, Lawson, Mear, Bridger

I will leave you to it then.

Out of interest how well do these lot do in Sweden and Poland?

Completely agree with you, time to give some of the younger Brits a chance yet some on here seem content to continue with Nicholls who lets face it is a rider on the way down from the world stage

Nicholls and king hardly looked much better.

So we just keep wheeling out riders who prove time and time again they are longer valid on the World stage?

How do we get the next generation on to the next level if we dont give them some exposure?

Id rather have seen Barker or Bridger struggle than watch an out of depth Nicholls who should do better but is past the international scene now.

I can see why people are saying give the young ones a chance, theres no point flogging dead horses after all. but I just cant see Auty, Worrall, Mear, Roynon doing what the young Danes have turned up and done. It used to be unusual for a teenager to make it on the world stage, now its becoming commonplace. Just not for us.

looked like it worked out pretty good for the danes.

Imo what Britain needs is youth speedway and speedway schools, but since there is no(?) 80cc tracks

and most (?) teams are owned by promoters it probably isn't likely.

Scott scored 11 points on Monday, Barker and Bridger combined wouldn't have scored that. Scott deserved his place in the team tonight.

The next generation as you put it would be exposed on the World stage big time. We would end up in the qualifiers along with Latvia and Hungary etc

All of which could've backfired on Denmark, I do agree about more and more teenagers to up to international level quickly. I would rather have a few years of lesser success in terms of qualification and get the young Brits the experience of racing the Swc qualifiers and see where it takes team gb

The Danes will walk it with relative ease. We'll finish 3rd but at some point string together 4 or 5 good heats and everyone will think we'll qualify before reality sets in again.

Obviously I hope we win by 20 points, i just can't see it sadly :(

Pretty spot on I'd say, apart from the 5 good heats, just a joker instead.
