Odds On
Does Troy replace Darcy if he's not fit? he sure does.
em1500uk
I thought we were meant to be expecting a lot of rain yesterday, but I was in Lynn yesterday and there weren't much rain at all, in fact I don't think there was any! Today's pretty much the same at the moment. It's been dry ever since I got up anyway, but I don't know what the weather's like in Lynn at present as I'm not over there. I would imagine this meeting will be staged without too much bother. As has already been said, the NA have lots of good equipment on hand to scrap the top surface off the track and then relay some dry shale on it afterwards. There's not many tracks in the country that can do that well I'm sure.
Star Lady
Weather in Lynn is dry and lots of cloud making it slightly muggy and there's a slight breeze. Hope everyone enjoys it. Altho I would love GB to do it for Rico, I can't see it especially with two far from match fit riders in the team. Bryn
Alas cannot get to the NA tonight but here's to a great and injury free meeting and a 'white out' for Rico! Understand Tshirts, wrist bands, book of condolence and more available at stall manned by Freya Louis plus 'Gentleman' George and Linda Barclay so do look out for that. manchesterpaul
If Darcy Ward doesn't ride would it likely have any effect on the attendance or not remotely so?
g13webb
In all honesty, the Aussies are in a differrent league to the rest, and should they fail to win here, it would be one of the biggest upset in WSC history. We need to concentrate on scoring points in each heat to secure 2nd place. That to me would be an achievement in itself. We know we are not the strongest nation anymore, but the Bulldog spirit should show lots of fight. Thats all we can expect. If this meeting is half as good as the one on Saturday, I shall be more then happy. If Darcy Ward doesn't ride would it likely have any effect on the attendance or not remotely so? Non. What-so-ever.... There's enough talent on show without having to worry about that.........
Steve Shovlar
A real shame Darcy isn't fit. Would haveprobably have put a few hundred more on the gate and whether he rode or not would have made no difference to the end result.

semion
I hope Middlo has got it right with 2 riders returning from injury and a big gamble in Danny King.
foreverblue
Agree completely,i am going but it is a shame Darcy won't be there as he is fantastic at the norfolk arena and although it strenghens our cause,Batch also goes well at Kings Lynn and i can't see how it won't be a walk in the park for Australia and definately looking forward to seeing Crumpy,he will be almost unbeatable. I hope Middlo has got it right with 2 riders returning from injury and a big gamble in Danny King. Not a gamble at all,who else is there? Barker and Kennett are rubbish at the moment,Danny is going well and by far the best option, everyone will give their all.A half fit Scotty is still a better option than anyone else that could have ridden. Fentiger888
I hope Middlo has got it right with 2 riders returning from injury and a big gamble in Danny King. What a stupid message, how on earth is danny king a BIG gamble?? He is top of birminghams averages, riding/scoring well in top league in sweden and gating very well and id say riding the best he ever has. Dont tell me you would go for bridger who has great talent on a bike but in all fairness is abit of a one track pony and talks the talk but never really backs it up away from eastbourne. Kennett who is struggling everywhere at the mo and has never really done much at lynn. Barker who again is struggling in the elite and dropping plenty of points in the pl. Then we have auty & roynon who are both having great seasons but lets be honest are still some way off world cup standard. King is the 3rd highest brit in the elite averages and king harris woffiden & nicholls are the only brits that ride regular abroad, for some reason he goes under the radar compared to the likes of bridger kennett etc, he is the most underrated brit we have and i wouldnt be surprised to see him top score for team GB tonight. Good luck tonight to britains top 4 men.
