HasseHolmqvist
When I tuned in tonight and saw Keith presenting I thought `great` a REAL commentator, but no we soon had the SCREAMING imbecile back assaulting our ears. What a complete amateur!! And as for the useless bint in the pits asking the usual predictable questions it ruined for me a great meeting. Whinge, whinge, whinge, whinge, bloody whinge zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Mimmo
What a great meeting, and congratulations to both Australia and Great Britain for their continuation in the competition. I thought the Czech Republic deserve a few plaudits too, as they did better than I thought they would. As for the 'Monster Girls'...........my eyesight has gone funny Age caught up with me tonight, as I got a tad confused with the jokers, tac subs, and everything else that was thrown at us, oh dear my programme's in a mess. naffer
yes those monster girls scrub up well yabba dabba Doo. why are there no reserves now? I have a horrible feeling someone will get crocked early on in a meeting and ruin the competition.
jimmy jimmy
Well done Aus and well done to Team GB on giving them a massive battle. As usual GB are bridesmaids never the brides but those EF's cost us big time. Time to move away from Kings Lynn now. Crowds looked average at best and as its completely out in the sticks we need it to change to a new venue. Guess people will moan about that comment but a change is needed. We are one top rider short of a great chance. Bet the track will be ultra slick on Thursday suiting the gaters. It will be moving to Manchester pretty soon, not long now!!! Hi all, apologies for a potential silly question, but if a rider is forced out of the meeting, is there any provision for their team mates to fill in the rides Cheers James
Steve Shovlar
after the quality of racing you have just seen again on what is pound for pound the best race track in the UK,you honestly want to move away from it??? Out in the sticks?? theres more to speedway than effing Poole you know!! stick with what works, its the entertainment business you know Where have I mentioned Poole, although to be honest we are lucky to see racing like that virtually every week on another very good race track. Great post Setve perhaps we should move to Poole track , and give us a home track advantage! Again I haven't mentioned Poole, and of course if this had been at Poole the result would have been a foregone conclusion. It will be moving to Manchester pretty soon, not long now!!! I'll believe it when I see it. And it could end up like Leicester's track. ZZZzzzzzzz!
A ORLOV
Well done Britain, did better than I thought they would and without the mechanical problems we may have won. The meeting was as good as the one on Sat and a credit to the sport. I now have no idea who will win on thursday but with a performance like that of tonight we stand a chance. I just wish we still had the Internationals, as GB v Aus or USA used to be as good. Looking forward to thursday and sat. SCB
Hi all, apologies for a potential silly question, but if a rider is forced out of the meeting, is there any provision for their team mates to fill in the rides Cheers James Simple answer, no. Advanced answer, if you're 6 behind you can use a tactical.
Gemini
Middlo and the boys did us all proud tonght but I still think an EF is not acceptable and the two we had tonight cost us the win. Broken chain and a burnt out clutch. Do they count as engine failures? Fentiger888 I didnt realise we picked riders on passion and not talent!!!! Passion aint enough, eddie the eagle had passion!!!! ......stevebrum.......If you go by his last few scores for the Bees then that is questionable.Never looked a threat on the World stage, sadly to say. Steve...... things aren't always speedway related. I think he was referring to Eddie the Eagle as in downhill skiing (or whatever it's called) not Ed Kennett. nw42
I love watching Chris Harris when he's in this sort of form. It's like the second coming of Peter Collins. That's exactly right, the sense of expectation when he's in the right mood & form is so reminiscent of Peter in his heyday, very fast and very fair. Really enjoyed that meeting and feel proud of the way the British lads took the fight to the Aussies, especially after being written off by many (including a few on here) as no-hopers before a wheel was turned. Well done Great Britain, keep it going.
SCB
Cheers dude. So you really are pretty f#cked if one of your team has to withdraw Basically. They tried reserved a few years ago if one of your riders got injured, amazingly 3 teams had riders pick up injuries in 1 meeting. Personally I prefer the idea of a non-riding reserve who can take any 5 rides. If you choose to have Harris as your reserve you can use him in all of the last 5 heats if you like. Or in all 5 of heats 1-5 to get off to a good start. Everyone would have the same rule at their disposal.
Boris41
Can anyone explain all the goings on in the pits ? Great ride by Bomber in his last heat, fair ride my friend given the circumstances. Holder good rider still not a great rider. It may come Apparently what I heard was that Bomber's mechanic elbowed Crump who then punched him in the face. I didn't see the incident but saw the aftermath where Bomber's mechanic did look visibly upset. They had to call in security to separate the two teams, it was all handbags in the end. After 2 heats it was all forgotten, people shook hands and laughed and joked away like nothing happened. The Aussie riders were then cheerful and was laughing at the banter between us and them. Everyone was really great especially Noddy!
g13webb
There is not another race track in the country that could have serve up the quality of racing we saw tonight.. Every rider raves about this track and tonight was a brilliant spectical of speedway racing, as it should be.. The crowd tonight was bigger then last year, (I think 8000 was quoted but thats seems high) If they plan to move it somewhere else next year then they'll have a hard act to follow.. Well done Kings Lynn...You done us proud.........

Daniel Smith
I thought the Norfolk Arena capacity was 7,200 but FIM safety regs reduced it further to about 6,800???? Definitely more than last year but not 8,
Steve Shovlar
There is not another race track in the country that could have serve up the quality of racing we saw tonight.. That is just not true. Whilst the racing was good tonight, I have seen just as good if not better meetings this year at Poole. And I am sure Panthers fans will stick up for their track as well.
