GM
I knew something was wrong on Saturday night Rusty went to get changed after heat 13 after having words in the pits first. Not been in the same form as last year but will be hard to replace
Firestone1
Taylor Poole would be a good signing if/when fit. May have to look to the Elite League for someone who could double up.
Arson fire
Strange to pick him for heat 15 on Saturday then?? Been a great servant over the years... On a side note, Kyle Howarth tweeted after Saturdays match that he wasn't happy and needed a change....can anyone confirm if it's speedway related?? Good luck rusty in whatever you do. mikebaker
Always liked Rusty, and was surprised when he came back to the sport in 2009 for Birmingham. This makes the title race wide open now, after events over the last few days. Will be intresting who the Comets opt for, perhaps take a gamble on a new Dane or Swede. Read his twitter, may not be speedway related, but was just after Saturdays match. Edit... He's says not enjoying myself at the minute, time for a change. LagutaRacingFan
Shocking, He was doing so well for Workington. Hope he finds peace or solves any personal problems he is having. Â Good Luck Rusty.
scaramanga
make or break for comets the right rider could be just the thing to give them that little extra but the wrong rider will ruin a good season r/r will be ok at home but not away a new signing is needed asap Edited July 2, 2012 by scarra

Believe he was only picked for heat 15 cause lawson was still feeling the effects from heat 10 and Bach had picked up a slight injury, in paper it was quoted he had gone to get changed after heat
topaz325
Can understand Rusty's reasons for calling it a day with the Comets it must be difficult for him with a young family and a full time job to fulfil all his commitments with Workington. Â Rusty will be difficult to replace, especially away from home where he has come up with some good scores, eg 10 at Sheffield,10+3 at Glasgow, 8 at Edinburgh,9 at Scunthorpe, 10 at Ipswich. Â Best wishes for the future Rusty and thanks for all your efforts for Workington Comets.
