Certainly the car park was quieter than usual when I arrived.
mdmc82
Was summers ok after hurting his back in first race and is there any news on cook?
Cj69
Cooks waiting on results of Xrays on his hand, was wearing a sick bowl as a hat in a twitter pic so still in good spirits. Summers took nasty tumble early but finished meeting on a high with last couple rides. Good night (bar few nasty crashes). Loved the race the wrong way (turned right) in a great time of 85 sec and fitting that Wethers won the overall meeting. And Rory showed he can still ride the dale by breaking track record in heat one then the prefect cut back later on after 'missing' the start. Great night for a great servant to Edinburgh Speedway! Bandit59
Was at Armadale tonight looked like Cook took a sore one said he was taken to hospital with a wrist injury hope it does not keep him out of the pairs .Good crowd and some good racing never seen as many wheelies as from Ludo coming out of every corner.Very good night for Matty he deserves it well done

george.m
Mike Hunter on the Monarchs Website, "In the last race, Rory Schlein gated and rode wide, but Matthew's cunning inside line proved slightly better and he came through to win." Bit of journalistic licence there Mike, considering Rory went wide and looked to let Matty through from the start until he eventually did. Well done to Rory though for the sporting gesture on a fun night.
Al Stewart
Bit of journalistic licence there Mike Obviously I realise that. I quoted Matthew saying as much. Personally I prefer everyone to race for it properly but in Testimonials, that's likely to happen.

Personally I prefer everyone to race for it properly but in Testimonials, that's likely to happen. As I said well done to Rory for joining in the spirit of the evening.
