taitemerson
So it has come to my attention that many people have there own opinions on where the british speedway grand prix should be held. Personally i think they should keep cardiff as a venue but also use wembley as maybe a super prix event ? or even changing from wembley to cardiff on alternative years so that there is a change. i think this would attract more people especially in london as this is the capital and there is many people they may not be able to afford the travel to cardiff . good idea ? write what you think.... tyretrax
Have no desire to go to London for the G.P. I don't know what you mean by people not being able to afford to go to Cardiff. How much more would it cost me to fly return from Glasgow, stay two nights B&B ten minutes walk from the track? I think it should be held at Hampden Park That would make it really cheap.

MattK
I think it would attract much more media attention if it was held in London, but from a purely personal point of view, I prefer Cardiff.

The poster though is saying have one in Cardiff AND one in London. My preference personally would be the new Olympic Stadium rather than Wembley. Cardiff = the Welsh GP; London = the English GP. Simply NO problem with that...

I agree, the Olympic Stadium would also be my choice over Wembley, but it all comes down to economics. Can Britain support two GPs? I guess this year's Cardiff might be a good indication of the chances of having two GPs in this country.

Is the right answer, GP 25 mins from home - brilliant. Having passed Stratford each morning on the way to work I have been really impressed with the regeneration work. Stratford has far more local facilities than Wembley now too with the bars, restaurants (for all budgets), shopping and Casino to name but a few. Chewbacca
Olympic stadium probably a good shout. Don't think the FA will let us back into Wembley. Nedds to be an add on though. Cardiff should keep its GP

Humphrey Appleby
Olympic stadium probably a good shout. Don't think the FA will let us back into Wembley. Doubt it has anything to do with the FA. The FA had to borrow a fortune to re-build Wembley and so are desperate to put anything on that will help pay the bills. They couldn't give two monkeys about the pitch given that they let American football rip it up every year. It's far more likely to be down to the stadium being too big and not cost-effective for BSI, combined with the lack of a roof.
