Gambo
I'm believe that Nicklas Porsing is riding (at No.1) in place of Loktaev, who has Visa problems. ATB Dave

Didn't the same thing happen in the World Cup last year with the Lagutas ? It may be the rider or his federation at fault, or it may be the immigration bureaucracy at either end. Not a good situation wherever the problem lies. Alan.
richiej95
Gutted about Loktajew. One of the riders I was really looking forward to watching ride as his performances in Poland have certainly raised a few eyebrows.
racers and royals
Wonder if any bookmakers will price up the Coventry round-Bet Victor have odds for the championship Magic 5 to 2 MJJ 5 to 2 Mikkael b Jensen 4 Prem Pawlicki 4 Zmarzlik 11 to 2 Dudek 25 (he missed one round) In my view the Coventry winner comes from these six My idea of prices for the meeting would be Magic 11 to 4 MJJ 11 to 4 Prem Pawlicki 7 to 2 Dudek 5 Mikkael b Jensen 6 Zmarzlik 8 33 to 1 bar six

British bureaucracy causing the problems once again, I believe. Whilst sportsmen are normally offered a simpler service for obtaining visas for international events, this seems to again have been denied to some speedway riders. The suggestion on another forum was that Loktaev was told that he would have to surrender his passport to the British consulate for up to 4 weeks, which is obviously impossible for someone continually travelling across borders to race. em1500uk
If this meeting is called off, I take it they'll try and get the meeting rearranged for Saturday 18th? I know I'm probably asking a stupid question, but the forecast on Friday looks...well...not amazing from what I remember. I know someone did post a forecast link earlier in the topic, but I think the forecast may well have changed?
