World U21 Championships Final Round Saturday 10th November

Great result.Always thought in 80cc he was certainly a super talent, but his nerve was questionable when it came to the crunch.Never winning the YGT when he was favourite or one of the main contenders put a question mark against him for me,but he has certainly over the past couple of years(especially this year) proved he is one of the main prospects. Also very pleased for Mikkel Bech to get a bronze. His chances are still to come

Oh well,i might be wrong about Mikkel Bech.He is saying if next years world final is going to Argentina again as has been planned then he won't be there.

"They have no idea about how to plan things.Everything is done at the last minute.I can only hope next year will be better.Although for me it doesn't matter as i won't be there"

This ties in with a few things i have seen from a few riders saying "no way Jose",next year.

You should have given the FIM people more time to tell how wonderful it was... You cant shoot it all down this fast!

We will have to wait and see.But as the saying goes "once bitten, twice shy". Give them credit at least the Danes gave it a go.Despite what we have seen here,it is an incredible coincidence that all the Poles apart from the one defending his title were injured for the trip.So we could be looking at a world title being decided next year,if Argentina goes ahead, without the Poles and Danes and possibly others who get wind of what has happened.Of course the FIM could come up with enough money to make it all worthwhile..............

I checked the final standings yesterday, MJJ's title could haveb een called after the first final earlier in the season. MJJ won on 12 and Magic one point behind...

Thats with a touch of propaganda...

EDIT: I was looking for a good MJJ pic also yesterday, had a few good and recent ones but they were all missing parts of the riders... Overeager cropper!

Don't know about that(actually i used the one of both Liglad + Mikkel B together in Pardu on my FB page)...........what i do know is that in a report yesterday Liglad was called the "new Nicki Pedersen".....now i think i said that on here in about 2005 or 2006 :t:

Twitter-moans, but no official criticism from any riders or team managers, I have been told.

FIM and media information coming back is positive.

I would predict Argentina will become more and more accepted as a speedway nation as more and more of their riders travel overseas.

Anyone thinking that, if it were to run on the same basis as 2012, a rider with a chance of winning a World Title "won't be there" may want to think again.

My source has been very positive -- and he is Danish!

Maybe Peter S will post his views on the trip at some point? But sure we have to wait for the guys to get back home and let the dust settle .But if this article is to be believed then neither Jepsen Jensen or Mikkel Bech are happy, and that is now on record, and as i said this only backs up things told to me before the guys set off.If others are saying positive things that wouldn't be a big surprise.Everyone is different and has different views. The thing is though that with the top guys dropping out it puts a big financial strain on those riders not doing as well.Proof of the pudding will be next year to see who enters the competition.Expect to see Liglad concentrate on other things anyway and if Mikkel B is adamant he won't go,then i wouldn't expect to see him enter either

Looks like a 3-round U-21 championship this year.

That's more than enough.

Common sense rules

... well done Armando!
