PHILIPRISING
I don't think too many people would argue with that. Withy Crumpy retiring, technically a 4th rider qualifies too, despite what is currently being said. Theres a few riders that could finish 4th and I'd be happy. GET it through your head ... the fourth placed rider won't replace Crump.
SCB
GET it through your head ... the fourth placed rider won't replace Crump. So you tell us, doesn't make it correct. It'd be interesting what would happen if the rider who finished 4th this weekend takes this to court. Nowhere in the rules does it do much as hint at 9th place in the GPs getting the place. Mama
The rules are simple - 8 riders from GP and 3 riders from GP Challenge will qualify to next year GP!!
SCB
The rules are simple - 8 riders from GP and 3 riders from GP Challenge will qualify to next year GP!! No. The rules are the top 8 GP riders and the 3 from the challenge qualify. If anyone who qualifies doesn't ride in the GPs then the first reserve takes his place. The first reserve is the first non-qualifier (4th place) from the GP qualifier.

I would'nt be surprised to see 2 more retirements as well . the Winter is a very long time when you are over 40 , and a couple surely won't want to slip out rather than go out at the top . PHILIPRISING
THINK Hancock will try and hang on for a GP in the States (possibly 2014) and judging by conversations with him shows no sign of wanting to pack up. Gollob? Who knows but what else would he do?

manchesterpaul
5 days to go ! lindback unsure whether to pull out-which would give peter kildemand a chance.Sadly Croatian TV don`t appear to be covering the meeting(even if we could have found a stream)still can`t believe the FIM can`t organise internet streaming for a meeting of this calibre-which we could buy. meeting starts 6pm (uk time) and updates will be available. I've just come on to ask if there will be ANY tv cameras present at the track. If so it would have been a nice little extra for Premier Sports to slot in. As they also do streaming in addition to their tv subscriptions they could gain one-off income for the meeting. Although i guess that would have depended what's on their schedule UPDATE EDIT Went and had a glance and they have programmed a French rugby union league match between Toulouse and Toulon! I so had to resort to Wikipedia to find out what a 'Top 14' match was. I had presumed it was rugby's version of football's European Cup but nope nothing so grand. As for the SGP Challenge there are some iffy riders in there and i also fear a rider who will be outclassed in the series itself getting lucky on the day. Shades of the considerable downside of the old one-off World Finals looming. Edited September 26, 2012 by manchesterpaul

The only TV company that are at all likeky to be there are Croatian TV-as far as i can see they are not showing meeting live, probably will include a report in a sports bulletin.as i have already said i am most dissapointed we can not watch this very competitive meeting at all. Triple.H.
Ahh but he may not want to ride if called upon as he might of heard of KKS/MJJ/THJ and his full on admiration of scandinavian riders

Ghostwalker
2 riders have to pull out-Mikael Bech is 1st reserve Mikkel B Jensen have pulled out and Nen Barker is 1st reserve. Dennis Andersson is 2nd reserve. https://twitter.com/...261210463449090 However I don't know if Dennis' broken leg have healed yet. So the current third reserve might be moved up to 2nd reserve.
