spook
Australia have had four riders in SGP before now, spook. If they're good enough they'll be in. I bet they all qualified don't get me wrong .. it'll be a crime if Darcy isnt in there.... but IMG have a history with picks and quotas
wjm
As a Harris fan it will be a slight relief if he has to sit out a season of GP racing IMO, as much as I am a fan of Chris, his racing style and attitude he does seem to have hit a brick wall. I would hope that a season out of the GP would have the same affect on him as it did Loram and to a lesser extent Hans a few season ago, Chris is still young enough, and still has enough ability to compete as a top level GP rider IMO. He just needs to find the consistency over a season that seems to be lacking, maybe a year out might given him the, I wouldn’t know if it was motivation , but the kick start that it has given other riders. pandorum
Ben Barker, Ben Barker ..... the only person who thinks Ben Barker should be in is Ben Barker, & thats because he has an over inflated opinion of himself and his riding ability. This is only surpassed by Lewis Bridger who is of simular vain. Harris could match race them both 10 times and beat them 8 times out of 10 and get EF in the other 2 If Barker ever becomes half the rider HE thinks he is he will be lucky Something tells me Wuffy will take a place if offered & god luck to him I wasn't advocating Ben Barker for the GP Simply saying Harris is so dire GP wise that Barker deserved a chance before him. I like Harris but he is abject at the top level There is no way GB deserves a pick. Even Tai has not done enough to merit one. Of the picks available MJJ and Martin Vaculik are bankers and there will be plenty of others more deserving than one of our riders.
LagutaRacingFan
From what I have heard at Peterborough on Thursday, MJJ will be offered a wildcard If he doesn't qualify and Bjerre,Andersen and Bjarne fail to make the Top 8.
Dave_minall
I love Davey Watt, but he has no place in the GPs. We don't need older riders coming in that won't improve the quality. I'd prefer a Darcy Ward or a Martin Vaculik any day over a +30 year old rider.
racers and royals
Denmark`s Jesper Steentoft has been named by the FIM as referee for the challenge final.Personally not come across him before-hope he`s the right choice for such an important meeting. I will be offered one too if no-one else wants one. I heard this last night at home, in my dream... Edited August 6, 2012 by f-s-p
racers and royals
5 days to go ! lindback unsure whether to pull out-which would give peter kildemand a chance.Sadly Croatian TV don`t appear to be covering the meeting(even if we could have found a stream)still can`t believe the FIM can`t organise internet streaming for a meeting of this calibre-which we could buy. meeting starts 6pm (uk time) and updates will be available. HenryW
Don't see it mentioned already here, but Watt and Lindback have both withdrawn so Kildemand and Buczkowski take their places.

A totally different rider to last season, let alone his last GP stint. World Cup winner, Danish Champion, Top 5 in all three major leagues). Martin Vaculik (GP winner in his first meeting, only a few points behind our 'great hope' Harris, despite riding in about half the amount of meetings). Michael Jepsen Jensen (Young, exciting and a GP and World Cup winner in 2012). I don't care how many Danes are in the series, if anything they deserve more riders in it as a reward for their successful youth policy. JT. Withy Crumpy retiring, technically a 4th rider qualifies too, despite what is currently being said. Theres a few riders that could finish 4th and I'd be happy.
