JT
A mediocre line up, probably the weakest of all three meetings, and Harris still can't qualify. Going on past form, I await every excuse in the book from his 'team', more delusional BS about how his machinery has cost him valuable points this season (as if without these, he'd be leading the series) and every attempt made by those in charge to find an excuse to give him yet another wild card in 2013. ciderman
Don't doubt Harris's ability, but his team and general prep seem to be lacking. Nothing against Mark Courtney but he was never a World class rider. He has gone backwards since Norrie went, He needs a (recent) former rider with a bit of sense, who knows how to set bikes up helping him in the pits. Just seems as if he can't tell people what he thinks needs done to his bikes. How can up and coming young riders, get the set ups reqd (Ward for one), yet he struggles!!!! Baffling! Sorry to see him not qualify as Harris in full flow is great entertaimnent! As much as people knock him, who else is there to replace him! He is still the No1 British rider. Suggestions as helpers: Chris Louis, Jan Staechman, Gary Havelock, Edited June 30, 2012 by fixerman
J-D
Harris finishes in 11th place in a field that was far from the strongest. I trust that will ensure that we don't have to suffer watching him in the GP series in 2013. Speaking with someone at the track take away the tapes exclusion and being stuffed on the 1st bend by Larsen and kasprzak in two others heats he done quite well on a gate and go track. Sadly he will be moved on for Tai in 2013. Not sure despite what Tai may say I doubt he is ready yet.

Yeah,yeah....whatever.Hard fact is someone who only finishes 11th in a semi final doesn't deserve to be in the GPs.
JT
Don't doubt Harris's ability This is what I don't get, he's very rarely what you would call 'world class' and his form away from the comfort of the British league is that of an average second string at best. I've also noticed whenever things are going ** up he blames everything bar himself, his bikes mainly, but all his 'engine failures' come when he's at the back. That could be down to poor set up as his team constantly tell us, or it could be just a typical Motorsport excuse. As he's had years of riding in the series to get this right (and the sponsorship opportunities that a pretty much guaranteed place in the series brings) I'm leaning towards the latter. The British No.1 excuse is laughable by the way, so what? Is it for the television? If so, who actually tunes in to watch Harris scrap for the odd point, or chance a final once in a blue moon? He technically isn't actually our No.1 anyway, that's Nicholls, but I wouldn't give him a place either. Make them actually work for a place and maybe, just maybe, they'll raise their game. JT. Woffinden came 12th in the Motala semi (2009) and was still gifted a GP spot, so there's hope yet for Harris

I trust that will ensure that we don't have to suffer watching him in the GP series in 2013. A wild card pick must be out of the question for next seasons GPs surely,so its a top eight finish or nothing for Harris.Must admit Im finding it very hard to make a case for any Brit at present to be in the GPs next year. gaptooth
Don't really mind if there's no Brit in the GP's next year. Harris is far from good enough. I look forward to seeing some of the young riders make it in a couple of years maybe, Craig Cook, Ritchie Worrall, Tom Perry etc. as I said maybe! youngy105
Yet again, struggling for updates from Lonigo. The German Forum doesn't have any either nor does Sportowefakty. You'd think the FIM would do something about keeping supporters informed how the meeting is progressing.

Agree i was hoping with Zagar in the field the slovenians might have updates or even the Hungarians with several of the field. doesn't that meeting start at 20.00 UK time? Yes
HasseHolmqvist
Love some people on this forum, just sitting there waiting for Hariis to fail so they can rejoice in his failure. It was the same with Scott Nicholls not so long ago, its what puts the great in Great Britain. Personally I hope Tai does not get given a place as you lot would be onto him next. Makes ya sick

Timo Lahti on in 20 minutes time. When he puts on his gating gloves, anything can happen in Vojens' slick track... And then it rains. Makes ya sick The realism is that he really isn't good enough , it's not a case of looking forward to watching him fail. Nothing would please me more than Chris winning GP's . But let's face it Cardiff 07 was a flash in the pan. I am gutted that GB has no true world class riders at the moment but that's the truth of it.
