69th Scunthorpe Speedway Amateur Team Meeting - Saturday 16th June 1pm - Off

Due to popular demand this will be a team meeting. Will probably split each of the three adult classes (Open, Support and Novice) into two pretty even sides. May try and also make it a North v South thing to add a little spice. This is ahead of the annual team meetings against Southern Track Riders (and hopefully Stoke) on July 1st at Kings Lynn and at Scunthorpe on July 8th

 

There will be three youth classes (125cc, 250cc and 500cc) which will form part of the Summer Championship (to replace the last round when there was a clash with the British Youth Championship). Interested riders should text or call me on 07832-402167 if they prefer.

 

Already we have nearly thirty bookings. Early bookings preferred but will do what I can to accommodate late entries until Friday night.

Following tonights Premier League rain-off and with the forecast of more rain tomorrow it has been decided that the risk of a rain-off tomorrow is too high. With that in mind, and to avoid most people travelling, we have decided to not run.

 

The next amateur meetings are the annual clashes with the Southern Track riders at King's Lynn on 1st July and at Scunthorpe on 8th July. Teams will be run at Open, Support and Novice standard and anyone who would like to ride should contact me via email (richard@scunthorpespeedway.com) or on 07832-402167.
