Cardiff Gp Finish Time

What time will the GP finish, i am looking at train times and the only one i can catch back to Devon is 9pm will this be pushing it

i too am looking at getting the train home and have searched and it seems that 9 pm is the last train from cardiff, so if the meeting runs a bit with a crash etc then i think we will be missing the final whch is not good, so if anyone has any ideas on buses etc i need to get back to essex but london will be fine as we can get a lift from there,

I think you will be safe enough aiming for the 9pm train...as the meeting starts at 5pm again this year it should be over by 8pm and give or take slight delays with stoppages by 830 maximum. The railway station is only across the road from the stadium so you should make it easily. Good Luck. (If I can recall last year I was munching on a McD burger at west end of M4 before they closed at 10!!! on my way back to the Irish ferries

 

Apologies...just checked the SGP website and this year meeting starts at 6pm ( when its been 5pm previously) I still think you will be ok unless there are an outragious amount of stoppages.....maybe start working your way to the exits and watch the final/fireworks from there ready to run.

I'd just suggest trying to sit on the 3rd/4th bend for the last few races -they don't check you ticket, just walk into any entrance and sit where you like once the meeting is underway so you're at the end closest to the station.
