westhamboy66
Fair play to Berwick and glad to see that the Fours are back to the track where the competition belongs (As long as the Panthers are in the Elite anyway) Some pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/harryward/sets/72157630599369892/
Taylorj
A great effort Comets, 3rd place is a great achievement there were some strong riders there yesterday  Why Ben barker wasn't picked for Team GB mystifies me !!!
Arson fire
Â Â The Bandits fans I was stood near(infront of the bar) were having a good time. All singing and cheering on their riders, I didnt hear anything to upset sensitive ears and would go as far as to say they added to the atmosphere on a great afternoon. Â Some fantastic racing as the day went on, Seb Aldens ride in ht 12 absolutely awesome. Really determined riding from the Bandits in the final and a thoroughly deserved win. Can't argue with that, thought the Berwick lot were loud but that's all, only thing that could have upset anyone was the ashworth chant...but only if your a miserable git...good day with good racing after the first 5or 6 heats...Glad non of the self proclaimed dream teams won...Man of the meeting for me was Bellego, who stepped up to the plate to compensate for complin who didn't....or it would have been an easier victory. Firestone1
who are these worst behaved supporters?,please let us know. Workington apparently. But with regards to Berwick, I have to congratulate the best team on the day and deserved winners. Â We were on the right hand side of the grandstand for the whole meeting and didn't hear or see anything unsavoury from the Berwick fans, as expected they were just enjoying themselves and enjoying the fact their team had won something!

Skodaman
It was great to see both the Leicester and Berwick teams go to their respective supporters after the final race. It was also good to see injured Simon Neilsen in amongst the Leicester fans for some of the meeting - you dont get that in football! Normski
Yesterday speedway was the winner with some tremendous racing on a well prepared track, as regards some peoples comments about berwick fans yes we were loud as we were there to cheer on our team who only the night before suffered a home defeat but at the end of the day we don't go out of our way to offend anyone yes a can of lager was thrown onto the track which is not acceptable but apart from that incident we tried to have a party atmosphere,We showed our appreciation for each rider that won a heat no matter what colour of race jacket he was wearing we also applauded Ben Barker who was one of the 1st out when Complin has his fall. The Ricky Ashworth song again was just a bit of fun with no swear words in it and to be honest most supporters from other teams were having a laugh at it , Big mention as well to the Leicester fans who were quick to shake our hands, and congratulate us after a brilliant final which went to the last heat and to there riders as well who were very sporting in defeat. All in all this meeting was a good advert for Premier League Speedway.
Shadders
The tune not the words lol I remember singing about Freddie Ljungberg at Highbury to the same tune during the 2002 double winning season.  We love you Freddie, because you've got red hair We love you Freddie, becuase you're everywhere, We love you Freddie, you're Arsenal through and through.  Good times  Echo the above posts regarding Leicester fans and riders for their response after the meeting.  David Bellago has a very firm handshake. My hand is still aching! Edited July 16, 2012 by Shadders
Goldmember06
Well done to the mighty Bandits of Berwick on winning the 4s yesterday! Fantastic team effort from the lads to bring the trophy home. Was a fantastic atmosphere with all the fans and great to see Drac and Pat joining in the banter. Â Special mention to young Spud for organising the photo opportunity, top man indeed! Â Hopefully the success will start to flow now
cityrebel
it's a shame yesterdays meeting wasn't on sky. it would have been fun watching mr.pearson going into raptures over some of the superb racing served up on the excellent showground track. Such a great atmosphere. Completely agree about Bellego he was brilliant although not about Complin, he did step up as he actually broke his hand in the first heat of finals and with no reserve in Edberg due to his damaged ankle lee did well to even stay on for the next two races! More of the same on Saturday lads please!
spin king
On the subject of Berwick fans celebrating and how they celebrate. Â What do people want them to do just clap and cheer not to loud, and not enjoy themselves. Â I have spent sometime with the Berwick fans, and yes they are loud and personally most of the time I struggle understand what they are saying, but they good fun and good company. Â Lets face it, its only 2 or 3 years ago they were on the brink of having no team to support never mind dream about winning a trophy, so is any wonder that they celebrated good and hard. .

ballinger
Yesterday was evidence alone that more Premier League should be on Sky</p> Â It was easily in the top 3 of meetings that we've filmed this year, and we've done about 70 so far.
