brandonbee48
give him 5 out of 10 because it was at least 20 mins We need Pawel more than Pawel needs us- especially on a Sunday. It's different with Denmark and Sweden because none of us have a clue!

brandonbee48
Alan, I think your record is stuck When i see 15000 at a rain-threatened televised meeting on a Sunday in Poland and 800-1000 at a televised local derby meeting on a Monday in Britain it makes me very sad. Cue the "Fixed night , no we can't do that" etc.etc. Sweden and Poland show how to present speedway that brings people in. Ah well, British is best....... I spent my happiest years on those terraces and i could weep when i see it now. Regards. Alan.

brandonbee48
Great meeting in a packed stadium here in Germany yesterday.8,000 creating a super atmosphere and watching some terrific racing http://sports.websho...055106195QUfQbN Fantastic to see. I quote from a post in this section about the Lakeside semi-final yesterday. " One or two little things I noticed about Lakeside, as it was the first time I'd been, tiny track in a bowl with stock car track on the outside, a swop of the two would be good , plenty of viewing area, 75% deck chair brigade, mind you they had the last laugh, the ground was as hard as hell on the posterior! I felt the whole stadium was uncared for though, everything was grubby and one of my first impressions was of the errrm, what should I call it, rubbish tip perhaps, behind the fencing on the 1st bend, stuff chucked/stored behind there, the two flags that had previously been on the flag poles which were yesterday adorned with FIM and Union Jack flags just laid there, why didn't someone throw them away, as I said, uncared for, people notice the little things, well I did anyways." Regards. Alan. Edited May 28, 2012 by brandonbee48
iris123
Whitsun cup individual ? won by ? Peter Ljung defended the title.Followed by Tobi Busch,Hefenbrock + Zengota.Gomolski bros relatively poor showing, especially as Adrian normally goes really well in Güstrow.Eddie Kennett interviewed on the centre green was asked if he thought the atmosphere was the same or better than England and he said he thought it was better....really liked the track and the fans are great.Fingers crossed he has a bit more luck as he rides there in a few weeks time in a GP quali.Started great for the Brits.First two heats won by Eddie and Lewis........but that was it Edited May 28, 2012 by iris123
