Good luck to the English guys, but when you look at the gulf in class between MJJ (GB-EL Ekstraliga etc) Dudek, Zmarzlik, Pawlicki2 etc and the likes of Tom Perry & the Worral bros, you have to resign yourself to saying good luck and god speed, but not hold your breath lol Edited May 23, 2012 by uk_martin
racers and royals
Should imagine only 7+7 will qualify from each semi.Certainly there will be 1 local wildcard and if like last year another wild card.
iris123
Will be live stream from Chervonograd from this meeting Super. Thanks for the info And personally i am not so pessimistic.I would say that Kyle and Richie have the relativelyeasier semi and stand a reasonable chance of qualifying if they have a good meeting
uk_martin
Fair enough, lol. My 8+8 have been edited down to 7+
wizzer
So i guess 14 points in the semi for Ritchie Worrall was luck? and easily beat 3 of the riders you highlighted? Think this is one of the problems we face in the UK? we don't give our boys enough credit. OK it might be only from his first few meetings but Ritchie is averaging more EL than everyone else in the field who race in UK including matching MJJ Average. I'm prepared to put on the line to say lets see how Ritchie goes on Sunday at world u21 team cup then reply to this topic? Cheers Phil
uk_martin
Don't get me wrong Phil, the heart is with them, but the head says otherwise...only my opinion like. The photos of the Italian track suggest it will suit the Poles and those who ride in the Polish leagues and other big tracks. If the English lads were at Berwick or Workington every week, my opinion may be different, but the "muck" of Newcastle isn't really the best preparation ground for a 400m semi-longtrack circuit, with what looks like a cement dust surface. I do wish the British lads all the best out there, and if they can pull it off, there'll be a pint waiting for you in the bar at the Barr the following Thursday, Phil. greyhoundp
Hmmm, guess Tom will be speaking to himself out in the Ukraine, cant see many english speaking guys in that field with him, it will be a toughie for him, but all good experience, and there is no doubting he has the ability. Tom Thumb
Startliste til U21 VM Semifinalen i Ukraine den 2. juni 2012: 7 Tom Perry, GB 2012 FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship Semi Final 1 Terenzano (Italy) – 02 June 2012 2 Sam Masters MA Australia 9 Alex Davies MA Australia 11 Kyle Newman ACU Great Britain 15 Dakota North MA Australia Wonder if any of these will be at Somerset friday night? I know Kyle will probably miss it because of his injury now, but maybe Witches could pull of an aggregate victory depending on Somerset guests!
