brandonbee48
So I guess this is what it sounds like to all of you English speakers when watching polish league. You got it Pawel. But we all love it. Speedway- the universal language. Ouch! This has to hurt if you are a home fan.
Ghostwalker
Hmm me wonders if Hammarby already have run out of cash? Or why are they so lousy at their own track?

Ghostwalker
There was a long discussion about the fact that many Swedish riders and how many does not have a team place in Sweden. former team manager wanted minimum 5 Swedish riders/lineup. I agree with the fact that some rider like David Ruud and Ludvig Lindgren doesn't have any or very few opportunities to ride in Sweden. I had a look at this weeks lineup and the only team with less then 5 Swedish lineup are Örnarna and Griparna both who have four Swedish riders. The problem with Ruud is that he signed for Lejonen, despite the knowledge of their financial problems and that they did not have an elitlicense. When Lejonen were demoted to div 1, he stood without a team place and asked Smederna for a place. However Smederna already had a full team and had already replaced contracted Gunnestad with Berntzon. I wouldn't mind seeing him at Smederna but sacking another rider would not be a good idea. Possible if there was a mid season rule change that increased the number of guestriders to three. brandonbee48
Ghostwalker, Does it help with sponsorship and media coverage having a team in the nation's capital? Or doesn't it make much difference, especially if they aren't very good? Alan

What is needed is tracks of the same quality as Eskilstuna, Vetlanda, Målilla, Kumla... in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. I think i read that things have gone slightly forward in Gothenburg, were the area zoning planning details have been approved by the city construction office.
