manchesterpaul
Hope not treading on anyone's toes but i've made 2 MiniMax racecards for the televised meeting. So if you're watching live or recording the meeting you can directly download the racecard of your choice from the top of the following page.... MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Varsana Vs. Vetlanda UPDATE OK i'm off to bed but have at around half-past midnight (technically Tuesday morning now) put the two versions online. The Basic version and the standard version. The difference in the two is that the latter has a good space to write substitutions in with wider columns. However some may prefer the higher rows of the basic one. brandonbee48
Good man Paul a very nice and much appreciated touch to the meeting. I echo your thanks. Both to Ghostwalker for his incredibly informed insights into Swedish speedway, and to ManchesterPaul for his score cards which add so much to the enjoyment of a meeting. Cheers guys and join you all later- on a day here in the US where the meeting would have already been called off. ( We need a wet weather smiley ) Alan. Ghostwalker
according to the live updates, there has been a short shower in Hagfors but track preparations are ongoing and the meeting will go ahead. Due to the mentioned rain, the start will be slightly delayed. Edited May 15, 2012 by Ghostwalker
brandonbee48
Good that they are going to get this on. They've obviously had a "lorra" rain.

Ghostwalker
Live updates list Robert Kosciecha in place of Artem Laguta, is this confirmed? yes. Kostek (Kosciecha) will ride. I can recommend you to check the official live scores at http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ Those teams are always official. Referee said at least another 10-15 minutes until first heat. brandonbee48
Dave goddard is multi-tasking again tonight-commentating and reading the forum at the same time-what a star I really like the guy. The bane of a commentator when you have to fill up "dead" air time with the delay. He's doing a fine job. Just look at that sunshine now- and the magnificent tall pines. Brilliant sunset on the way!! manchesterpaul
Good Evening, Afternoon and maybe even Morning all. You're welcome regards the MiniMax Racecards. Incidentally, i've just updated them to include the late team change announced a few minutes ago. Ghostwalker
Danil King seems to have found the good form, 5+1 from two heats so far. I wouldn't mind seeing him rider for Smederna again. first heat estimated to 20.00 local time.

You are a really GREAT source of information. Thank you. As Pawel says it looks hugely like great swathes of Canada and Pennsylvania too. The world will never run out of timber between Sweden, Canada and the USA. But like the rain in England, it is probably "the wrong kind"
