Jayne
Mistake if im wrong jayne but no pork buttie but there was food available at monmore, point being made is there were none at buxton. Which is pretty poor. As previously said I will mention it to the guys that do the burger van, not much else I can do. As for Tuesday there may have been food available but that's not to say that everyone likes what was on offer
Neil H
Jamebabes1, I'm sure that Jayne would let you provide the catering for Dudley's next visit, just drop her a PM to arrange it. Otherwise, look at the other responses on here and let it go.
jamebabes1
No wonder speedways such a Joke if everyone's so flippant about the little things. I'm not hung up on the subject to pm just wanted a answer from the person in charge. And the silly replies of bring your own food and your there to watch the racing are not really constructive. If you'd have replied Jayne and said 'look we don't do the food, but yes it doesn't look good, I will have a word' and apologized that's fine. End of the matter. I know Buxton don't get much support (and that aint a dig), but its still poor. U cant knock Monmore Green facilities Jayne and its a bit of a cheap dig to say the FOODS not to everyone's taste (key word being food and not running out by heat one). Bored of this now it was days ago
John Leslie
I went to Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse last weekend. Whilst his steak was very tasty, I was disappointed that he wasn't providing any Speedway racing for me to watch between courses. Obviously I didn't raise this issue face-to-face with Marco at the time, I waited a few days until I was a safe distance of around 100 miles away and wrote on his website. Marco replied saying that his main trade was in fine dining and he didn't really feel the need to provide Speedway as there were numerous Speedway promoters in the country already doing this. He had the cheek to suggest that if i used my common sense I could possibly go and watch a speedway match and find a local eatery either before or after the match. I've written back on his website and told him that this isn't good enough as I can get both Speedway and fine dining at Monmore Green stadium, and I won't be returning to Marco Pierre White's until he brings things up to Wolverhampton standards.
fentigers79
Or John Leslie you could always take a portable DVD player to marco's restaurant and watch your own speedway
