With the likes of Darcy Ward,MJJ,the young Brits etc riding in this meeting,if the weather is kind and the meeting well publicized I can see a large crowd turn out for this World Cup Qualifier. :t:

Agree with those above, that this will be a very tough task indeed.Guess the thing in GBs favour is theCzechs and toa degree the Danes wouldn't have riddenLakeside much if at all.But a couple of the Czech team done well in the U21 quali last week so won't be push overs. And they generally come out and attack tracks, even if they sometimes go flying into the fence(remember Kus in Vojens for instance).Realisticly i think 3 rd place, but hope for more

  • 2 weeks later...

Must be a change in the Denmark team as Nicklas Porsing tells me he is riding

Ok,seen the report on the DMU site.Leicester have refused to release Lasse from their saturday night meeting(against an agreement between the DMU + BSPA)So manager Anders Secher won't risk having a rider injured the night before a big meeting and has brought Nicklas into the team

I see that Kyle Newman took a heavy fall at Ipswich tonight.

If he is unfit who would GB bring in ? Perry? Garrity ?

Reports are that Kyle may have a suspected broken collarbone. Whatever, he was withdrawn and taken to hospital so it doesn't look good for him or the GB team.

8.00am RACEDAY WEATHER CHECK:

Have no idea why I'm here at the track at this ridiculous hour of a Sunday morning but am pleased to report it's sunny, warm, not a cloud in the sky so come on down and support the young Brits.

Further updates later. Any queries (apart from "is it on cos it's raining here in Outer Mongolia!") then please phone 01708 863443.
