Someone has posted the following comment on Kyle Newmans facebook page.

'Girl in the crowd was hit by the bike and suffered severe fractures to her lower leg. Had to be taken to hospital by helicopter. Two more spectators injured as well.'

Sincere best wishes to all those involved.

That was uneasy to watch. Bike was airborne at head height of several of the spectators during the incident. So easily could have had fatal consequences or severe head injuries and the awful life long aftermath of such an injury. Apparently one spectator was on a chair that then slid back down over the embankment.

Yes,i saw this on speedway.org yesterday. It is great that the young girl isn't too badly injured.I guess we have to wait and see what the consequences for the club and maybe speedway in general in Germany might be.I would guess there has to be an inquiry.Freak accident that might probably at the same or similar stadium never again happen, but precautions haveto be taken.I do remember a few years back at Berlin for the Ice Racing a bike(think it might have been Harald Simon's)flew over the fence. But luckily it was on the third/fourth bend where no one stands/sits.Just a grass bank.If it had happened at the other end it might have caused the same incident as that is generally packed

Only a 7 meter high catch fence would have stopped that bike... Things happen in speedway, even with better riders, but what was the guy behind thinking when he hit the other guy? Gone blind from spray perhaps?

Wow that was one of the worst Google Translations i've seen in a while, it must have been having an off day. I used to have a German girlfriend and can comprehend to a fair degree articles written in German but i usually also run them through Google Translate afterwards. They normally are quite good in their translation.

Hey f-s-p who's that picture of in your icon?

Please explain to a further detail, I have no idea what you mean.

Lol, ok i let Wikipedia do it they'll be more succinct than myself.....

Shred guitar or shredding is a lead electric guitar playing style, based on fast guitar solos. Critics have stated that shred guitar is associated with "sweep-picked arpeggios, diminished and harmonic minor scales, finger-tapping and whammy-bar abuse", while other guitar writers say that rather than being a musical definition, it is a fairly subjective cultural term used by guitarists and enthusiasts of guitar music.

It is usually used with reference to heavy metal guitar playing, where it is associated with rapid tapping solos and special effects such as whammy bar "dive bombs". The term is sometimes used with reference to playing outside this idiom, particularly bluegrass, country, jazz fusion and blues.
