Live Danish Speedway On Tv

Recommended Posts

Feel guilty toddling of out for a few hours now especially if, as is likely, Kenni on his way to hospital!

Popping out to the pub for a few drinks and get back to update the League tables* before we settle down to watch Nascar into the early hours of the morning. Then SGP and Nascar again tomorrow night, it's a good start to the weekend.

Enjoy the rest of the meeting all. It's been a good week of Speedway with lots of meetings available.

Ditto in the thanks of the appreciation of the translations given for us.

*(ok will very likely have to delegate that task to one of the ladies staying at home, they're doing their own thing until we get back)

Often havelong delays in Denmark waiting for an ambulance to get back to the track.A few years ago now they had to decide either cancel the meeting or tell the fans to leave so they could continue.According to Peter S from Slangerup the ambulance is actaully there for crowd safety rather than ridersafety. The meeting can continue without an ambulance as long as no fans are in the stadium!

Up early tomorrow to go first to Vojens to see the stars of the future including young Australian/Dane Jason Jorgensen, son of former Coventry rider John. Then probably up to Holsted for 1.division meeting.

FOR THE SAKE OF THOSE FAITHFUL FANS THERE, WHO HAVE WAITED THIS OUT, I HOPE THOSE NASTY BLACK CLOUDS FLOATING AROUND DON'T DUMP THEIR LOAD ON THE TRACK. THAT REALLY WOULD BE A KICK IN THE TEETH.

Exactly......had a similar experience for a Danish 80cc Final a few years ago.Turned out Skaerbaek had forgotten to book a Doctor for the meeting. So realising their mistake quite late they had to ring round Denmark on a sunday afternoon........this meant more than an hours delay to the meeting. And the rain started just as the riders came out.Slowly at first and just got heavier........got through the meeting, but it wasn't much of a spectacle.Luckily no-one was injured, but the youngsters are pretty fearless and tend to ride in conditions their older counterparts wouldn't

You'll all get old one day, trust me. :t::party:

Alan.

You know you're getting old when you're told "Slow down". And it's a doctor telling you, not a cop.

By the way, which one of these teams is Split Waterman riding for?

any news on larsen?

It's a different injury everytime they talk about it.

Concussion, broken nose, arm injury, hand injury have all been mentioned as possible injuries.

Ha ha,bit of an echo :P Still good to know we agree,so if i am wrong we both are :t:

Oops! Hope you're not a betting man, Iris!

Although I am sure we would have both been right had Larsen not had his unfortunate crash. Hopefully his trip to hospital is just precautionary.

Next match on Kanalsport is on Monday - Grindsted V Holsted @ 5.30pm UK time.

Slangerups unbeaten home record lasted from august 2006 to May 2012, i Will give you the excact number, but arround 40 meetings.

We had to losse eventually, but it would have been nice with a smaler margin. It was, however, only due to a tremendous effort from our clug staff that we got the meeting on at all on wednesday.

you are Right abolut the ambulance Doug.

Regering the prediction for the outrup meeting, i guess you owe mé a beer Doug.

See you.
