manchesterpaul
Bremner would have probably used Joey as a toothpick. He was one hard man as were the rest of the Leeds team including Norman bites yer legs Hunter. Barton would be left shivering with fear in the dugout in that company. Ron Chopper Harris was another one I loved/hated Glad to see another vote for Norman Hunter and of course Ron Harris. Wasn't his brother a defender too? I think we're all agreed. Skillful, overpaid nancy boys today for the most part. And that's just the refs. As for the players......... iris123
The Managers back then would scare the life out of todays players. Now they are more worried about looking good than discipline.Look at Jogi Löw.Although he does have a good team,i'll give him that the ponce
manchesterpaul
Regarding the Terminator Tacklers of football let's not forget the heroes who defied them. I think first of all of a skeletal, ok very skinny, George Best, he braved and rode some fearsome tackles from those who didn't like to be left looking like fools as he danced around them. A very brave player who got up again and again after some severely nasty knocks. Last race and Nicki begins another unbeaten run? MrMungo
The next match on Kanalsport is on Friday as Outrup host Holstebro @6.00pm Uk time. Holstebro are without their number 1, Bjarne Pedersen, who's at Lakeside. They have drafted in Robert Kosciecha, who'll probably be reasonably solid, but not really a number 1. Outrup have a strong side for this match with no obvious weak links, and I'd expect them to win quite comfortably around their home track. Outrup 1 Antonio Lindbäck 2 Charlie Gjedde 3 Mads Korneliussen 4 Kalle Katajisto 5 Jonas Raun Holstebro 1 Robert Kosciecha 2 Aleksandr Lokajev 3 Andriej Karpow 4 Jonas B Andersen 5 Emil Grøndal

We got Hellfire and Damnation biblical weather here in Manchester 'for a change' (don't believe the Myths). But further afield much worse is going on so all cool. As an Aces fan i hope Charlie doesn't live right proper up to his christian name and performs well. Be back in 20 mins too. Currently, with the humidity, "real feel" temp. is 40c so send us a bit of that rain that flooded Coventry today

MrMungo
it certainly looks that way. They're currently on heat 6 in Outrup, so the problem seems quite terminal.
