manchesterpaul
IIRC, it doesn't count towards the points gained during the 20 heats. It's just there to decide the winner of the meeting. The 1-2-3 of the final decides who "wins" the meeting. Nicki, for example, could get excluded (unlikely I know) but would still lead the championship. That's how I understand it anyway...might be wrong though! Danish tv just showed a Championship scorechart with the points earned in the final included. So guess that must be the way it goes. I would think though that the winner of the 'final' race does indeed stand top of the rostrum. The temporary card did it's job but i've now withdrawn it due to the confusion over what points count to what (although i think we got it figured out now). The card for the second leg will have provision for accumulative heat-by-heat series points in addition to the meetings overall grid. MrMungo
Upcoming matches on Kanalsport: 30th May (Wednesday) Holsted – Esbjerg 6th June (Wednesday) Slangerup – Holsted 11th June (Monday) Grindsted – Holstebro 13th June (Wednesday) Holsted - Outrup 20th June (Wednesday) Outrup - Holsted 25th June (Monday) Grindsted - Outrup 27th June (Wednesday) Holsted – Slangerup It's a shame there's no trips to Esbjerg (Korskro) quite yet. Racing wise, it's definitely one of Denmark's better tracks, in my opinion.
manchesterpaul
Thank you greatly for the above. I think the Queen is coming round our way sometime soon and if so i'll grab hold of her for a second and i'll see about getting your name changed name to Sir Mungo. MrMungo
Back at Holsted tomorrow night @5.30pm UK time. A few changes to the Holsted side, but they still look big favourites to me. I remain unconvinced about Hougaard, but a half decent score from him, and they'll be very, very tough to beat. Holsted Nicki Pedersen Patrick Hougaard Martin Vaculik Rasmus Jensen Niklas Porsing Esbjerg Patryk Dudek Leon Madsen Mikkel B Jensen Steen Jensen Kasper Lykke Nielsen
iris123
I'd agree. Not really worth travelling up for imo.I think at 1,4+5 Holsted are stronger and debatable with the other two positions, but wouldn't surprise me if at least another one they are stronger. manchesterpaul
Hi all......i'll scribble down what it's saying (or take a screenshot it's tickering fast lol) and put it through Google translate unless a Great Dane can please beat me to it. Before i do that just realized the start of it is likely saying server problem. Also, 'forbindelsen' looks similar to the German 'verbinden' (connect) Screenshot was easiest way to do it and....."vi har desvaerre problemer med forbindelsen til speedway, vi vender tilbage til holstedt hurtigst muligt" "Unfortunately, we have a problem connecting to the speedway, we return to holstedt soon as possible" I wonder if Ole Olsen is in charge of the stream as he's usually behind messing up our speedway entertainment lol.
