Daniel Smith
The meeting is at a stand still. Whats going on???
MrMungo
Meeting held up at the moment due to the paramedic(s) attending to a spectator. Before that, there were lots of complaints regarding track conditions, so they had a lengthy track grade.

MrMungo
Cheers MrM Take it I've turned up pretty late as I believe it says heat 11 next??? Heat 10 up next. They just got fed up with showing the heat 10 bets I guess, so they moved onto heat 11.

MrMungo
Mads & Kenni show the little hotshot MJJ how to ride a bike Not in heat 14 though! Holsted V Fjelsted (Nicki V Hans) next match. 2nd May i think they said. The Outrup V Grindsted gets repeated numerous times over the weekend. http://kanalsport.dk/programoversigt for more information. (times are CET, of course) I assume all repeats will be viewable on the website, but not 100% sure.
uk_martin
Seems that DK4 retain the SGP series for the benefit of Danish viewers.

manchesterpaul
@ www.kanalsport.dk 14 meetings have been confirmed for the 2012 season with Outrup V Grindsted being shown at the moment. Can you expand a little please. Are you merely pointing out that they are being broadcast in Denmark on tv? OR... Are these available for free on the internet either live or recorded?. Does one pay to subscribe and then can view them on the internet? Even if not available to view over here it's good news to hear the sport getting good coverage in Denmark. manchesterpaul
GOOD NEWS! It is available LIVE on here and there are repeats. http://kanalsport.dk/ I downloaded the plug in as they recommend and it works fine. Holsted v Fjelsted is on tomorrow. Enjoy Regards. Alan. Thank you for that, i was far from sure it was available from reading the OP. About to watch the first match of the Swedish Speedway in a couple of hours or so. According to the Premier Sports TV Channel in the UK it's scheduled for a start time two hours earlier than normal (16:15 BST and 15:15 GMT/UTC). I shall go check what our Swedish members have as the details. They are also showing the second leg of last years final before the live match so i'll put that on in the background. We really are having a feast of Speedway on our screens nowadays. The following meetings are due to be shown during the month of May. 2/5 Holsted V Fjelsted 7/5 Grindsted V Esbjerg 9/5 Slangerup V Fjelsted 11/5 Outrup V Slangerup 14/5 Grindsted V Holsted 16/5 Danish Final @ Holsted 30/5 Holsted V Esbjerg (from www.speedway-league.com) Many thanks for the list of broadcasts and hopefully you will be so kind as to provide the same when June comes around. pandorum
Does anyone have the format of Danish racing as it looks different to all the rest. 6 man teams over 15 heats?
MrMungo
Does anyone have the format of Danish racing as it looks different to all the rest. 6 man teams over 15 heats? Here's the PDF from the most recent meeting. http://speedway-league.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/500-05-01-2012-OSC-GSK-1.pdf It's far from ideal, but it shows the format. 14 heats - 13 & 14 are nominated. The number 4's race against each other 4 times! That's the format for the top league. The 1st Division (effectively 2nd Division) have a new format, which is raced between 3 teams. pandorum
Thanks for that. Makes it easier to follow what's going on "The number 4's race against each other 4 times!" Very strange format in Denmark. Do we know who the teams are for tonight? Edited May 2, 2012 by pandorum

Very strange format in Denmark. Do we know who the teams are for tonight? Holsteds strong B-run Nicolai Klindt crashed Monday night in England and has a broken shoulder blade and had to cancel Wednesday's match, instead Rudi Steen Hansen picked up the strong Przemyslaw Pawlicki in Poland. Så sent om lørdag kunne han opleves som Wild Card ved Grand Prix løbet i Leszno. So, late Saturday, he could be perceived as Wild Card at the Grand Prix race in Leszno. Holsted Holsted 1. First Nicki Pedersen Nicki Pedersen 2. Second Patrick Hougaard Patrick Hougaard 3. Third Przemyslaw Pawlicki Przemyslaw Pawlicki 4. 4th Nicklas Porsing Nicklas Porsing 5. 5th Rasmus Jensen Rasmus Jensen Fjelsted Fjelsted 1. First Hans Andersen Hans Christian Andersen 2.
