Leicester Track Debate

Recommended Posts

you forgot the shale nobert72

nob, the track conditions are fairly good, however there is only one line used.

what they need is rakers brought back to bring the dirt back to the inside again, the tractor is not always the answer.

Yeah that would be a good idea. Make sure there's only one fast line round the inside and no chance of any riders making an outside pass. God you're smart

I thought you had been banned from this forum for intolerance towards other posters!!! By the way, have you found a motorway for Speedibee to play on since he has been absent for nearly 24 hours??

My thoughts on the track are, for what they are worth, is the racing is getting better by the week. The track won't be be altered now until the end of the season but does appear to follow the guidelines laid down by the SCB.

After days of rain, I thought the mill wasted spectator areas have proved that all the work put in over the winter has paid off - no more muddy shoes or boots and it is true that the number of spectators is down but who would turn out in such poor weather other than the die hard supporters. It isn't very enticing freezing cold wondering when the next rain shower is coming. There I go - the "rose tinted spectacles" have been passed on to me to wear this week.

are you guys all supporting the same team or is this some sort of local rivalry as you all come across like your all not supporting the same team.

youve only been back 5 minutes and things take time to slot into place and im sure the promotion will sit up and take notice when they realize theyve started to lose their hardcore fan base because of poor racing/track conditions.

sorry neb or is rob72 right ? nob you dont know me enough to mock me and by some of your posts you know very little about speedway yourself

Wie-Ja - the above post was "hijacked" by TMW but the latest news about Speedibee is that whilst the motorway didn't get him, the moderators did. Gone for ever is what I heard so that is one less to moan about the ever improving track at Leicester.

I rode for 5 years so I think I know a lot more about speedway & speedway tracks than you do, & my conclusion is you're a complete & utter boring, brainless cock.

It seems you dont, you had a short carear liontamer, seems you were as bad riding as you are seeing the problems with BP track.

This mud slinging at each other is going a bit too far I think and is way off the subject i.e. the track. If you cant post positive thoughts dont bother to post at all. All this personal stuff doesnt belong on here.

ok troll, last time I'm bothering to reply to you. I had to pack up due to injuries sustained in a crash which left me unconcious for a while & with injuries I still suffer from, almost 40 years later. This happened a few weeks after a rider was killed right in front of me.....still think you're funny?

I have sadly seen 2 riders killed and many very badly injured over the years, but what i dont understand is if you have raced and were badly hurt then why dont you see the extra dangers of long straights with bottle neck corners at BP ? I have said the track shape is not right and riders past and present are saying the same thing but you wont have it, yet you say your riding days were cut short by long term injuries,

Modd, i totally agree with you, sadly the same people are abusive on here and thats why some fans wont post there fews.

I agree. There have been some really nasty posts on here lately which completely go against the 'attack the post and not the poster' rules.

Robert I think you should just refrain from saying anything else about the track because everyone knows by now how you feel. You won't change anything and it just gets boring reading the same comments over and over again....and that's from someone who is on your side. :)

Just going to prove how pathetic and futile the thread is.I think. We are sick of hearing about the track and everything that needs to be said has been said so just hijacking it withn a bit of fun cos that is all it's fit for
