Haza
Or maybe GSI bought the rights to STOP Polish speedway being shown on UK TV, which could further affect the low attendances at many tracks .... probably not, but just a thought !! I had a thought as well do you think Sky pay El tel not to allow the coverage to be shown over here after all would make our EL look very poor how could Sky sell our EL to the tv viewer on a Monday night after seeing Polish league on the Sunday ? Does seem a little strange the best league in the world gets 0 tv coverage
Angus Kix Lives
If we can watch live Swedish speedway with English commentary, why not Polish? Money and timing. Tuesday at 6pm is a much quieter time for live sport than Sunday afternoon and evening. Edited April 23, 2012 by Angus Kix Lives
brandonbee48
Money and timing. Tuesday at 6pm is a much quieter time for live sport than Sunday afternoon and evening. I think both yourself and Haza above have the answer The potential audience (mainly male) would be decimated by the plethora of football on against it. Even a nut case like myself has the 4pm Premier match on the TV in the background whilst i watch my beloved speedway on my PC. Trust me, if a company could make MONEY showing it they would, but i wouldn't risk my money on it. Regards. Alan.

They stopped the DVD companies uploading Speedway clips to Youtube, so you may be right. Many of my favourite clips have gone . I just dont understand it, as surely Youtube is a great source for attracting new fans to speedway, everyone uses it. Shame but hopefully they will change their mind once they realise what a mistake it is. Edited April 24, 2012 by Brummie Kev
