AND - whilst we think all our boys are special you may like to come out and check up on the next generation of Hancock blood.

Brad Pappalardo is the nephew of Greg Hancock. Does he have his uncles winning ways?

Come and see for yourselves!

Nothing like a little bit of pressure. Good luck to Brad and the boys.

I know - but hopefully it will bring in a few more fans who are a little interested to see how Brad and the full team get on. More profiling - thats what we need.

No T shirts I'm afraid.

We don't have a huge budget to get merchandise made up so we tend to go for the little items.

We could do T shirts but they would be cheap and nasty ones and we wont do that.

I have anew connection for the next tour and we may be able to do something then.

Hopefully this will take you to our Touring Team Facebook page with some of the goodies on.

Programme Boards £5

Mugs £5

Badges £4

Mous Mats £3

Bottle Openers £2

Coasters £1.50

Keyring £1

Fridge Magnets £1

Pens £1

and if any of you have been following the Facebook page you will definitely buy a pen - you will have seen the trauma I have been in getting this lot made up!!!

PLEASE BUY A PEN!!!

And dont forget to bring some extra cash as we will be auctioning a race bib either in the middle or at the end of each meeting, depending on how the racing is going.

Really dissapointed to see that the fixture at Kings Lynn has been cancelled following a stock car meeting today ******* the track

From the Kings Lynn Official website

The King's Lynn Young Stars challenge match against the USA Future this Wednesday 11th April has been postponed.

With the Norfolk Arena being a multi-purpose Motorsport venue, stock car racing took place on Monday in very wet conditions and it has caused the track to become un-raceable

Am acutely embarrassed on behalf of British Speedway that a car meeting on a track on a Monday can mean the cancellation of a pre-arranged Speedway meeting on a Wednesday involving a visiting side from overseas, who had - obviously - long pre-arranged this..

In fact I can't easily recall a more embarassing or damaging incident..

Truly and deeply, pi$$ poor disgraceful..

It is embarassing but the car meeting must have been arranged months ago - without the use of long range weather forecasting! I think there was also a stock car meeting at Norfolk Arena (King's Lynn) on Saturday. Also sad because the American riders do contribute to their travelling expenses for these meetings.

We got the news tonight from Dale Allitt as we were having a team meal / bonding get together with all the riders and management team , mechanics etc.

Have been trying to arrange something for Thursday for the lads who are ultra keen to get as much track time as possible.

A great bunch of lads who are pumped up ready for action at the IOW for the tour opener tomorrow night (Tuesday)

Was actually really looking forward to this meeting after seeing the USA lads last year, doubt they thought about calling the stock cars off before the track became too unracable...

Probably the official in charge of the car racing - they do have them! - felt the track was safe for the cars to continue racing?

Well let's hope that the weather's okay for a ticket to Ryde tonight (Tuesday).. Certainly plan to be there myself provided it is...

Whilst cancelled meetings (for whatever reason) are very annoying, geezers like me will remember how distressing it was before super communications became part of our world.

Telephoning a stadium to ensure a meeting was going ahead was frustrating with either no answer or an engaged tone, I hate to count how many times we used to arrive at a meeting to find a hand written cancellation note flapping about on the gate, having travelled for long distances, we couldn't even get in for a cup of tea.

I believe I remember once attempting to attend a Test match against the USA at Owlerton and being refused the exit off the M1 by police who insisted we were flying pickets during the miners strike.

At least now promoters do all they can to let us know that a meeting is cancelled in good time, in these times of ludicrous fuel prices it does save us a great deal of money.

It isn't really fair to grumble!

Couldn't agree more. Looking forward to seeing the boys give it a go at the sports most experienced Promotion. One thing Len Silver can be proud of is his commitment to the youth development aspect of Speedway. All without the unwanted distractions of other sports sharing the venue thus ruining speedway. Fingers crossed for the weather at Rye on Saturday
