Rye Raiders V Stoke Potters Mon 9th April (after 2pm Rockets )

This meeting is threatened by rain on monday,,,Hopefully it wont be to bad.. Expect a slick track after the Rockets match which starts at 2 pm .Stoke may be wthout a star man possibly Birks.. ( Premier duty ) and i expect Adam McKINNA to be the replacement. in a top heavy side .. Raiders will be looking for their top 4 to produce the goods ,,with the new lads hoping to prove they are worth their places in the side ,against a weak looking Stoke bottom end,,...Should be an interesting afternoon ,....Raiders riding order 1 .Mason. 2 .Hazelden. 3 .Morley .4. Chessell .5. Sarjeant. 6. Braddock. 7 .Lee..

Given our declaration on the BSPA website, I would imagine we will line up something like

1) Tony Atkin

2) Jaimie Pickard

3) Adam McKinna

4) Rhys Naylor

5) Richie Worrall

6) Dan Berwick

7) Ben Reade

As for the meeting, I think a lot depends on the track, as it will be the second part of a double header. If it is a slick track, with gating at a premium, then who knows. I think the Stoke top 4 possibly shades the Rye top 4, but it will be a close one.

I'll say Rye by 4

Agreed the top 4 in both teams are closely matched..The result may well depend on the tail of both teams,,,Both are long ,, but with Ben Reade riding at reserve as opposed to Luke Chessle being in the main body of the team,i feel Stoke may just prove the stronger ..However if Braddock can calm down a bit and remain upright he has the pace to turn that forcast around,, i hope so given time he has the makings ..hhhm....interesting..Now all we need is the weather to give the meeting a chance to take place....

Forecast looks terrible... Odds on that this will be rained off.

According to the BSPA site we are off; must be the treat of rain. Saves people making the journey if they are so sure of the forecast.

Hmm, IF being the operative word... No rain at all in Essex/north-east London today. How come RH is the ONLY track in the country which makes such early decisions to call off..?!
