adz_mft
Great way to open the season.Good to see so many people turn up considering what the weather looked like. Also good to see a fair few stay for the AJL racing after the meeting. Close meeting as expected today.Track looked in superb condition, which produced some good tight racing. Cam and Lewis led from the front.Backed superbly by Joe,Danny and Stef. Joe looks a totally different rider from last season.Looked really quick. Was very unlucky when he had a bit of a coming together with Cam. Have to say i'm really impressed with what i saw from our young reserves. Can't ask for more than what they produced today.Nathan looks super smooth on the bike and Josh looks like a real racer. They are only going to get better through the season. With this as an opener the season can only get better.Bring it on.Up the Tigers

Tigertas
Great meeting today. Dudley tried to fight back but the tigers hold on for a one point win. The two reserves for Mildenhall tried very hard and dd well everyone chipped in. Well done Tigers
norwichkev
Not the best performance from dudley and still only lost to so called league favourites so not bad and super roynon led from the front, showed cam the way round west row. Id say we are favourites now but u just never know do ya Early days my friend, there are other teams out there who may have other thoughts on that.  Today saw fourteen riders who all had at least one good ride which I thought produced a very good meeting, considering Cam apart this would have been the first competitive meeting of the season for the rest of the Mildy riders. Roynon after the first 2 rides was back to producing the quality that heundoubtably is, his team riding with Ash Morris in Ht 15 would not have looked out of place at the top level. JJ showed Roynon the way round West Row in Heat 1 ( touche Mr 1984 ) and looked way above the rider of last year, could be a trump card for us this year.  Good turnout from the Dudley faithful, look forward to seeing you in the return, think we both have potential for a good season ahead.  Had the best structured second half that I have seen for many a year with some additional youngsters out in pairs - 23 plus heats of competitive Speedway on a well prepared track for £12? no brainer.  KL up next, expect another good meeting, Kerr has the potential to be quality, Tom Stokes vastly improved and Campos at reserve??? Good job we have Team Manager elect Jonathan Chapman there to at least give us a chance  Kev
PhilK
Kev and Adz have pretty much summed up the day. Â Excellent crowd, looked 800 plus! The all new Joe Jacobs looking the rider we hoped he would be last season, and two excellent debuts from our young reserves. Â Dudley will be up there when the trophies ar e being given out no doubt, already looking forward to the league encounter. Â As Kev says super second half action, bags of potential on show, and great to see so many supporters staying on to watch the action. There will be another AJL challenge next week when The Complete Car Services Fen Tiger Cubs take on Kings Lynn Lightning. Bring it on! villiers210
Fantastic day today. A huge well done to all 14 riders for a cracking match. I am Dudley through and through, but appreciate good racing when I see it, and today was another cliff hanger. Nice to see our old mate Joe Jacobs putting in a superb performance too. And what about the team riding in heat 15? As I said, credit to all concerned, and after hearing all the recent horror stories about how certain speedway meetings have been run recently, a damn good advert for British Speedway.
greyhoundp
Good result for Dudley, but we mustnt count our chickens, same scoreline as last year, from what i recall, but then Mildenhall came to the Wood and won in the League meeting, so its only half time, and all to play for, however i still believe Daryl, Byron, and JWW are below there best, so theres room for optimism there.
