Trees
It's all well ans good saying that some of these riders may go on to do something but how to they compared to Emil Sayfutdinov who at 19 was wining GPs?! Even Richardsson and Nicholls were 7 and 8 point EL riders when they were 19 and 20 down at Poole. Yet these days out best under 21 rider is who? We're looking at Haines, Worrall and Hart who are all PL reserve at present. Very scary really. Those asking when the next lot of youngsters are going to come from are asking fair and valid questions. The riders who qualify from the GB U21's to the Worlds are going to be chewed up and spat out - It's not their fault that theres nobody better than them in the UK and good luck to them, but we have something wrong with our system if we can only get our best under 21 riders to PL reserve level! Re our boys challenging Sajfutinov, send them over to Poland, put them on Polish equipment and let them practice on their tracks for a month, then see what they can do. In contrast bring Sajfutinov over here, put him on our boys equipment and see what he can do, would be an interesting experiment!

greyhoundp
update; 1st light shower at monmore 5-20pm, but Track is fine, word of worrying there are heavier showers around in the area right now, very heavy shower lasting some half an hour but it seems to have missed Monmore Wood at the moment. We dont want to much b,cuz these kids deserve a good track to race on, and we dont want anyone getting hurt.
