trophykid
What are your sources? This sounds unlikely even by Plymouth standards!
Halifaxtiger
I heard they were planning to enter an NL team (I got told by a mate that lives down there). No idea why it didn't happen.

Roger MARTIN
I have been told that plymouth tried to enter the nl @ the last minute & got told they wer to late, with the lack of nl teams wouldnt most teams rather have 2 more fixtures ! ? I have heard the same, maybe next year, seeing it's only eight teams in the NL how long would it have taken to change the fixtures, a pity because it could have seen the return to speedway of Tom Brown. skipper
How about Exeter racing at Plymouth in the NL, Like Dudley are
trophykid
It would be nice to help out Exeter. You get that feeling that National League membership, might be a get out clause if premier league costs become prohibitive.
Roger MARTIN
Plymouth have a NL meeting next week when Matt Bates will be riding for the Devils against a Weymouth side, in the Plymouth side will be Matt and Tom Brown, and with Weymouth will be Tim Webster and David Mason, Matt did say last night at the Plymouth Rye House PL meeting who the riders will be, but did not catch the rest, but i will be going to support Matt. trophykid
Hoping Tim Webster can catch the eye too. Good year at Stoke last year and unlucky not to be in the Potters line up IMO.
