Mimmo
Good Morning Parsloes, this is the non Edmondton resident calling. Heat 1 = 60.4 Heat 2 = 63.3 Heat 3 = 63.0 Heat 4 = 61.0 I'm certain Craig announced Heat 6 as 62.0 I think the middle of the three under 15's races was 59.2 but can't be certain as I was talking to an Westminster born ex-Crayford rider at the time!! Mimmo
Did you realise Parsloes, that both times Lakeside have ridden at Rye House this season in a challenge match, they have finished with an identical score of 16-19 to the Junior Hammers, with both meetings reaching their natural conclusion of six-heats? The one time when it really mattered as it was for league points, only four heats were achieved, although the Essex side still emerged victors. Parsloes 1928 nearly
Derek, Did Adam Kirby make any attempt to start Heat 2, or didn't he even get away from the pits? Cheers Mike He got onto the track - back straight but engine packed up so never approached the tapes. To me that's a bona fide NS. Next time he was under power until the bend before the tapes but the bike cut out then and couldn't restart in time to avoid a 2 mins exclusion. The other Adam (our one, Adam Ellis) shed a chain when leading heat 2. He still managed to get home for second. The chain managed to damage his clutch and so he had to withdraw from what should've been his second ride: so that's an NS too.

One-time RH Cobra Ollie Greenwood continued his comeback from injuury, like he had been at Sheffield in the MDL on Thursday, the 2007 GB U-15s national champ was unbeaten. A team debut in the UK for French-based rider Adam Ellis capped off by partnering Mark Baldock to the 5-1 in heat 6 to win the 'Capital Challenge'. Adam Sheppard contributed vital placings to help secure the Lakeside win. And Ollie Weldrick so unlucky as he couldn't avoid the fallen Exley in front of him in heat 2 and aggravated his collarbone injury leading to having to withdraw from the meeting Help with times for heats 1 to 4 plus the middle of the three U-15 races would be appreciated! Wasnt the 2007 Under15s champion Dan Greenwood who now rides for Dudley?
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Wasnt the 2007 Under15s champion Dan Greenwood who now rides for Dudley? Hmm, well spotted! As many will know, if there's even the slightest chance of me getting something wrong like this I'll take it!! Though in my (flimsy) defence, - and I won't name and shame! - a distinguished fellow member of the BSF led me down this blind alley on this occasion!! Have to say, btw, that Oliver looks to be as outstanding prospect and is a really nice guy too..! PS am sure namesake Daniel is as well..!! PPS shame there's not a third young rider with this surname, then one could put together a mini team and call it 'Under The Greenwood Three'... Parsloes 1928 nearly
I believe it's Ipswich vs. Mildenhall in the AJDL this evening. An important fixture in terms of the race for the play off final. And will be an interesting one to see the two team line-ups... Anyone ot there have any details..?
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Seems there will be no play offs in the AJL which I think is the right thing personally (I'm no fan of play offs deciding a league title) . The Ipo vs. Tiger Cubs derby match didn't happen last night as it happens...
