flagrag Posted March 1, 2012 Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 As previously posted it is now officially confirmed that we will be showing the New Zealand GP live at 4am and at present it is planned to be in HD as well i just hope that lots of Speedway fans can get up and watch it live to justify the large expense of doing it live as would have been a lot cheaper to do a time delayed broadcast. Thank you to Mr Rising for clarifying Brandos role he is a huge integral part of Skys UK coverage and BSI on Gp scene without him to programmes would not flow as well as they do he is very good at his job but so good to see he always puts speedway first often turning down more lucrative work on football,darts and rugby to do speedway coverage a true pro Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A ORLOV Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 Since the pub I go to to watch the GPs is not open at 4 am, and I would not get up to watch it at that time anyway, does any body have a sport schedule which shows the repeats and if so what time are they on. I have looked at the Sky broadcast schedule on the internet for the Speedway GP but it only shows one week ahead. Hopefully the repeat will be shown Sat night at about 7. That's one thing you couldn't find, up to and including the LIVE coverage tonight 0:55 - 9:00 of the 3rd One Day International between New Zealand and South Africa - in HD. emerald tyke Posted March 3, 2012 Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) at least the ones getting up to watch it live wont be cold with their anoraks on I'll be lounging on the sofa in me fleece pjs for this!!! cup of tea in hand or maybe a can of 'M' Must admit really looking forward to my 1st fix of speedway in 2012 on 31 march, albeit on tv but thats a pitfall of not living in a speedway nation here in Irish rep...unless I hear a good weather forecast and make it over to Shane Parker meet at Sheffield on the 18th .. the inaugural gp from NZ hope its a success for BSI and the competition in general. Don't forget that the GP is on at 4am in the morning, so it will be the start of your birthday, not the end. The GP will be on Friday night/Sat morning.
