Main Man
Michael will do fine. He's a sensible lad and will learn. Have seen him improve bit by bit since he started riding and young lads like Michael , Nathan Stoneman , Josh Bates, Max Clegg etc need this opportunity ---give them a chance please!!

I agree Main Man,give the lad a chance,he is good enough and deserves his chance, they all do,it IS what the league is about at the end of the day,Well done Buxton for giving the lad his chance

Scunny Stag
Michael Neale has come a long way since starting out with Wayne Carter on our mini track (sorry for the blatant plug). On Saturday he rode for the first time against adults and in the one race he finished before his engine blew up he defeated Lewis Rose who went on to win the Support Class. It is great that Buxton have given him his chance and in the long run I know they will be rewarded.
hooper
hi richard thank you for the kind comments you more than anybody knows what michael has done to get to this stage in his career and we thank you and scunthorpe for all the time he has had practising around there its really great to find poeple who are backing michael rather that putting him down we need more of the possitive comments to all our young riders who are giving the national league a go this year and in the future lets all get behind the kids and make one of them a world champion not just another guy that loses heart in the british speedway system due to poeple kicking them while there down
Halifaxtiger
Having seen young Micheal Neale riding at Scunny i dont think the lad is ready for league racing,i hope i am proved wrong he is a nice lad but could be left to struggle at national level. This could knock his confidence but lets hope not for his and the teams sake. Â To be fair, I think you have given a genuine comment here after watching him on Saturday, perhaps for the first time. Â I, too, was a little disappointed with his overall score after seeing him put in a very, very impressive first ride; after reading Scunny Stag's comments, I now know why that was the case. Â What I will say is this lad has made a huge amount of progress in a very short time, and commented so to his Dad on the boat coming back from the Isle of Wight last summer. His first race win on Saturday was, as I say, very impressive indeed and a huge step up again. Given that he has just turned 15, Buxton could have a very good rider indeed on their hands. Â Very best of luck to him for the new season.

speedy bill
I think my comment where taken out of context..I am all for the young lads and will be behind them in there quest to make it in speedway,Its a hard game and sure they will need all the encouragement from people to help them succeed.I wish them all the best of luck for the coming season, lets hope we find some new stars for the future.I certainly did not put anyone down on my last posting, it was based on my opinion only and people will have to take comments from us fans once they ride both good and bad. Backless
not sure how old paul is but i asume he is over 30 and i think the nl has a stupid rule of only 1 over 30 Â Why, precisely, would that rule be "stupid" - I thought the league was supposed to be about developing talent. JCookie
Don't you remember back in the old days when a 30+ rider could have a second half one week and be in the team the next week, world final the year after, think of all the riders we're stopping here.
