Dale, can we use No'8s in the National League??? Would be an ideal option for home matches at least.

Yes we can this year and Lewis will be number 8 and will get rides. Like I said he is a talent and will get his chance.

After seeing him yesterday in the AM meeting at Scunny,he is ready and deserves a starting place from the off

Yes I was also at the meeting and he is looking good, but he does need a little time hence him being in the inter class not the open. But at least it is another brit that looks like he may be good, that was his seventh time on a speedway bike.

There is one thing for sure mr rose will not be shy going into the first bend! The bspa should advertise in dirt bike rider for free practice days around the country for motorcross riders as they seem to take to our sport fairly quickly and unless you are right at the very top you can't earn any money out of the sport unlike speedway, when you look we have had Ritchie lawson, Craig cook, Lewis Kerr, now Lewis rose etc all coming over from motorcross and they all picked it up quickly. just think there may be future world champion out there. I see tony Briggs said at tourn gp that he took a top polish motorcrosser and he got the hang of it really quickly and rekons he could ride polish league after a few more sessions. Billy Hamill is looking at doing it in USA. So why don't the bspa give some free rides to these guys in Britain to see if they like it.

Agree but its 8 weeks maybe until your first NL fixture, get the lad in the team,he will be fine,no messing about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its what the league is for!!!!!!!!

There were others in the interclass who will ride NL this year,

I'm a little worried that if the lad is that good he might be tempted to ride elsewhere if he's only getting sporadic opportunities at Lynn. We've already seen Lewis Blackbird defect to Mildenhall last winter and I'd hate for the same thing to happen again.

They look very well balanced to me, especially if Darren Mallett returns soon.

The team will always have a decent reserve pairing the way it's been structured, and i'd say that a play off place is the least they should be looking for.
