ChubbyChesgire
It'll be good to see you again. If the offspring of a pig is a piglet, surely the offspring of a Chubby Cheshire is a chublet ?!

ChubbyChesgire
Gutted, was looking forward to it - I assume the rearranged date will be mid week, otherwise it'll get too close to the season
trophykid
Has anybody got any opinions on who the hot talent Stoke should be looking at?

Baldy
What has happened to Tim Nobes?. Is he still about and going to have a go on the Saturday?. Think he turned up without a speedway bike when he rode his match for the Potters; was away on holiday so did not see him.
ChubbyChesgire
Not sure - he didn't do well at Loomer, but it was not good situation he was coming into - he crashed and after that wasn't really in the running - think he hurt himself at Mildenhall. With a bit of nuturing in the off season, he could have still be considered for one of the threes, but the fact he has not automatically been given a place either means he's been put off, or Mal has doubts. Quite right; must admit didn't it much thought but if thought worthy then Mal would of given him one of the empty slots. Just found a bit of one of his races for the Potters on youtube. Hard to say on that if he will be ok or not. Did not like the way he was brought in for Ben. To me shows the man that Ben is to come back just a few weeks later and perform as he did. Not long now. Will get to the "trial" if possible.
ChubbyChesgire
Yes I didn't like what happened to Ben, but how he reacted to it was amazing. Hope to be there on 24th, but will have to rearrange a few things and also need to earn a few brownie points with the Mrs first !
Fozzie4388
Just seen that Adam Mckinna has signed for Stoke has one of the riders Stoke already signed dropped out? Surely they cant fit. Birks, Worrall, Atkin, Mckinna and Pickard all in? Their averages work out at 37.52 so one of Birks, Worrall, Atkin or Pickard must have dropped out or are they gonna take in turns to ride with Birks and Worrall also having PL Duties? It could be that Richie isn't available for the first few meetings, and instead of messing around with R/R, we go with Adam for the first few then see where we go from there? For the record, the press release from stokepotters.co is here: STOKE Easy Rider Potters have signed Adam Mckinna on loan from Premier League club Newcastle. McKinna who rode for the Belle Vue Colts last season joins the Loomer Road club on a 7.14 average and will link up with his new team mates at the club's press and practice day on Wednesday 28th March. Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey commented "Adam is a very useful and experienced rider who has unfortunately suffered with injuries. He is a very competent rider who will help us out at the start of the season and we will review the situation when everyone is available." Stoke's first meeting of the season is a challenge fixture against the Isle of Wight at Loomer Road on Saturday 31st March.
Baldy
Seems we lost a few posts. Has anybody reveled how and why Adam is in for the first month or so. Hope we have Richie is riding; what a start to the season with Newcastle with times to match the best.
