Sun is beaming down in stoke, does make u wonder why u21 semi was called off so soon. Was it really due to waterlogged track i wonder, such a shame

Yes it was called off because of the track and nothing else.

Perhaps you would have preferred a situation like they had at Belle Vue yesterday? Apparently some supporters would have preferred that it had been called off even earlier that it actually was there's no pleasing some is there

Well no, aint no pleasing some. Just wondering why u cant prepare a track in an whole day. Rain we had tues day over monmore wood and track was perfect still. Just my opinion

I don't prepare tracks and neither do you I presume. I do know there was heavy rain last night and this morning as I got soaked in it.

Heathen 1984. yes i accept you probably do have best rider in league, (not sure i am happy about a elite league rider riding in the national league) but fair play to dudley its all above board. You also have an excellent rider in Tom Perry. Sto ke have two very good riders in Ritchie and Ashley. Kings lyn iow and mildenhall are strong throughout, and buxton look a fair side. Title could well be down to the reserves coming good. Hope its not decided by injurys. lookin like being a realy good season

Not happy about us using an Elite League rider? I bet you are over the moon about signing a squad which totals over the 40 points limit though, not to mention using a guest for a rider who isn't your number 1.

Our team is 38.60.........oh I see you are talking about Ash Birks who is not if the declared 7, so cannot at this stage be counted in our points total. I wonder if Malcolm had not said anything and just declared his teams at the end of each month if people would of complained?. Sure would, people just point towards Stoke it anything happens; does make me laugh....even someone complained about the U 21 yesterday being called off because the rain that we had, stopped people getting on the track to prepare a racing surface.....Dave has many faults but don't blame him for the rain!!!. Adam had not got a ride at the beginning of the year and Malcolm doing what he is doing then more riders get races; is that a good or bad thing? Stoke cannot declare a team over the 40 points limit so what is the problem? On the guest...it was in a challenge where a 3 pointer replaced a 3 pointer, again what is the problem?. On the Elite rider point. Richie is on with Lakeside which I totally disagree with. Looks like our meeting at Rye is called off due to the rain we will probably have. May be wrong but looks like that may be the case.

yes i think rye have cancelled in case of rain, the problem with concrete surfaces if they get slightly damp they get very sliperey and with no dirt to soak anything up it becomes to dangerous

So the right thing has been done.......the same as at Stoke yesterday because the riders safety has to be paramount. The promotion at Stoke are going to get mains electric back at Loomer road; again for riders safety, because a blackout like the one the other week would of been very dangerous indeed, some would say it should of been done last year and there is some credence to that but I'm sure if they thought it dangerous or more likely the authorities thought that it was dangerous they would not of gained a ticket to race. Taken time but on the right tracks.

Steeplejack its no use knocking when there is no one in,as you have quoted the match at Rye House has been cancelled because of the the rain that might come tomorrow. Stokes meeting on Saturday was cancelled because of the Rain we did have, which by the way was heavy downpours throughout the Friday night and early Saturday morning which made the track very wet and sludgy, and as there was no great warmth or wind to dry it out it would not have been raceable. but then again posters from certain parts love to have a go at Stoke regardless of what goes on the good and the bad,in MV we have I think the best manager in the NL.

Idont see why we should be unhappy that you have signed Adam its a team sport so there are 6 others to consider I like the way that he rides and wish him an injury free season. But obviously the signing of Adam Mckinna is within the rules or the BSPA would not have sanctioned it

The reason you cant prepare the track is because you cant get the vehicles on to prepare. as the more you try to do to it the more you might begger it up. I agree with you the Track at your place on Tuesday was good but the difference might have been the difference in the amount of rain you had in compareson to the amount we had in Stoke, It absolutely histled down nearly all night and continued in the morning only dying down around dinner

Belle Vue was called off because of Gross Incompetence. Or maybe you just couldn't see the Stoke track without floodlights.
