vog
So, Stoke are running NL again next year, and have made their first signing Richie Worrall joins on a 7.75 average, and Tim Webster and James Sarjeant have both been told they won't be required at Stoke next year. Richie should be a good signing for us! Edited November 27, 2011 by vog

Feel sorry for Tim, but we get a loan fee and I would assume that if we are to move back to the PL soon, he will move up with us.

Heathen1984
Makes no sense at all to me, just crazy I think.
ChubbyChesgire
I'm really sorry to see Tim go, he's a good lad and a good talent, I know he's gutted. I hope he gets a ride soon as I know he's worried his high average will count against him. Also sorry to see Sarj go - when on form he is so exciting to watch. teddy2706
I don't believe it is a very nice way to treat Tim, he did nothing to deserve what is effectively a sacking, he improved his average over the year but suffered some dismal luck including some crashes that were not his fault at all. I sincerely hope that Tim shows Stoke what a good man they have passed over next season and rubs their faces in the dirt. James Sarjeant is a brilliant young talent who may well make a world class rider if he is mentored correctly and supported properly, but he too has a part to play in that career path, he may sometimes not do himself any favours in my opinion. It would be great if he too showed Stoke what a good man they have decided to do without.
ChubbyChesgire
Sarj also gutted not to be re-signed - I know we needed to reorganise due to the high averages, but I was not expecting Tim and James to be cut.
Greg
James is gunna be a cracking little rider
montie
To be fair to Stoke they had great success last year which means they had to shed points, and seems Webster is the one to miss out, thats speedway!!!
Greg
I like Montie said that speedway when ever a club dose really well u have to lose rider to make the team to the point limit scunni and Mildenhall may have to do the same thing. Unfortunately, that's pretty much what seems to have happened. I loved Tim last year, and hope that if we do move to the PL, he would join us on a 3, but his average is high when compared to others, and it is an averages game. Richie Worrall on 7.75 represents, to me, better value than Tim. In an ideal world we would have both, but I trust Malcolm in his team building. the bilster
Feel sorry for Tim and James, on there day two very good riders, who always entertain the crowd, just goes to show when your average is high, you get punished for it, both riders have improved and now have been told they,re not in the team next season, So much for team building,

vog
Another top rider signed also i hear so Stoke looking good for next year I hope you are right. We came so close to winning things last season, it would be a shame to find ourselves languishing towards the lower end of the table this season. Hopefully we can go one step further this year and win something!
